Now that the honeymoon period is over and after spending a shed load of money, I wouldn't be surprised if the Villa fans turned on Bruce given his Birmingham City connection
Well, Whenever he Inevitably leads the Clubs He manages to promotion. There's much comfort knowing it won't be this year & it won't be Villa. They either have been Invariably found , They're ability in masquerading as a top performing club is in need of a few years of regrouping, & under SB tenure , that could take even longer. Or Brucey, Will storm the Championship next season.
Bruce has way more pressure there, he won't be saying 'little Aston Villa' to them. With the money to buy players he should get promotion next season, but the pressure will be enormous from the start.
It's not "If" et al. It's Can't. ( I haven't checked numerically). The point has been proven looking at the Top 10 currently , There's so much quality & competition in those teams and the margins for gains are ever diminishing, specially for Villa.
They already are, just search 'bruce #avfc' on twitter and he's getting barrel loads of abuse. 'too negative' 'crap tactics' 'no plan b' it all sounds abit familiar.
Like with Allardyce at Palace, I assumed he'd go there and do the business, but it's not turning out that way. I think he will get them promoted next season, but I'm not sure their owner will be that patient, if things don't improve he might be gone before next season.
I wish our greatest ever manager all the best, apart from when his team plays us. Same with our second greatest manager Phil Brown.
Aston Villa fans are ****. In our games against them they seem to go out of their way to be to be unpleasant, gloating and all round arseholes in a way that no other PL club has in recent years. I was delighted to see them relegated and struggling, that larker Grealish seems one of their own and made in their image. Gormless, daft and ludicrously self-regarding. All this after they got another ****er in their image with Tim Sherwood. They don't deserve a quality manager like Steve Bruce, and it would be great if they could end up like the vermin, and endure a double digit year exile in the FL.
He's still doing a better job than their previous recent managers at the minute and has stopped the rot a bit so I don't know if they'll turn yet.
Our greatest ever manager is currently managing us I know it been a month or so but we have never set up so attack minded with the ability to defend as well. I loved Phil Brown as our manager but after 2 heavy beatings by Man Utd and Chelsea he set us up very defensively
He may potentially be the greatest manager we'll ever have but so is every new manager. Truth is, after 9 games he's not even greater than Phelan. FACT.
I agree, Grealish get's right up my nose, he could turn into another Ravel Morrison. These clubs like Villa & Sunderland who's fans think they are bigger than they are soon lose patience with their manager, whereas SB was always respected by the fans when he was with us, even though at times his ways did not suit everyone.
