Dudfield cost a fair chunk I remember. We spent more than other teams at the time but we were getting bigger gates.
We were everybody's second fave team when we first got promoted and did the 'London 0 - Hull 4' thing...
City Reserves. Though I do have a bit of a soft spot for Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Ace name, like the fact it's a joining together of two smaller clubs and they've now managed to get to the top league. The ground must also have one of the nicest views I've seen from a football stadium.
The old man always used to loook out for Hamilton Academicals on the teleprinter in the 70's and 80's. Just cos of the name
I've actually been up to the ground a few times, not seen a game yet, but I'd like to see at least one game.
In my experience we are a 2nd team choice for those people from outside the area who are now living in Hull. I have worked with people who mainly support Tottenham but love us, especially cos of Tom and Jake coming here. Currently working with a Man U fan who comes to watch some of our home matches and was up and cheering when we scored against Liverpool.
Derby County (used to go to the Baseball ground as a student) - but it's only a 'soft spot' thing Bizzarely I lived there in Derby - Chaddesden & the city centre for 3 years but I've never lived in Hull
Do you think the wheels have well and truly fallen off? You do look like a team in complete free fall.
We've got no confidence at the moment. Just need a win to get the wheels rolling again. I still think we'll be fine, but we do need to get a move on.
Probably Liverpool. I love big Stevie Nicks. You'll never walk alone is one of my favourite soccer chants.
