    Good, hey. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Inferno (2016) - Dan Brown novel. In the absence of greatness this will entertain.

Not sure if it's had a mention yet - some time since I visited this thread - but watched American Honey recently. Odd film, seemed to go on a little too long but on reflection I enjoyed it. Shia LaBouf was very good but the best thing for me was the soundtrack - so good I downloaded it (the first time ever for a film).

Live By Night - critics didn't like it, I did. Would have benefited from 5mins chopped here and there in the middle, but quite enjoyed it; certainly seen worse.

Bought a DVD from charity shop the other day, called "Afterwards",
Just watched it with the Mrs, she fell asleep, snoring her ****ing head off, this might sound daft but I'm not sure if I liked it or not, got malkovich in it.. it's about people that can see those of us that are about to die.... not very cheery...but hay ho, was only a quid..

We saw it yesterday. Epic war film. Parts of it filmed in Sydney.

It was excellent.... makes you think a bit.... imagine if our players could use more than 10% of their cerebral capacity... put force fields up around our goal, see things happening before they actually happen, see the goal is 24 yards wide as opposed to feet, they could influence referees even.... <laugh>

Lucy's really not good at all.

It's one of the reasons I'm quite concerned about Ghost in the Shell (the main concern being, as a fan of the anime, they appear to be just chopping and changing everything and dumbing it down to make it more accessible to a western audience. Scarlett's performance in Lucy is poor, and whilst she does have great performances in her, I get a bit of a Lucy vibe from GitS).

Lucy is a bit dogbab , it was a great idea that in practice was a bit MEH !

i watched Passenger at weekend , it wasnt bad at all , a decent concept slightly let down towards the end a little bit , for the masses .

the reverse for Interstellar - which i was bored for nearly 2 hours and the final 40 odd min totally made up for it , i f-ing loved this movie by the end ...i was more annoyed that i was huffing at this movie halfway through
