I have always had dogs so more than likely, though will give it a little time before I get another one.

This is what I will probably do, my sister does a couple of days a week at the rescue in South Cave, so once I am ready to get another one I will ask her to sort one out for me.

Agree with your comments also about dog owners and city fans.

Condolences John, non-dog lovers will not understand the heartache you must be feeling. My little pooch (see my avatar) is 9 and has been on chemo for 2 years for throat cancer. She's in no pain and doing well but I'm dreading the day when she does go! RIP Carla.

Had mine for 18 years too he was a rescue .. and my previous one for 14... every time I watch Supervet or Paul O'Grady, I find myself on Animal Welfare Trust and even called into the Dogstrust on the Leeds outer Ring Road about two weeks ago.... so I'm hovering and will get onto it very very soon.

Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard and Elvis.

However did we end up with tame garbage like Coldplay and Ed Sheeran?

Brilliant dogs are staffies. Had mine about 8 years. Also a rescue. He lies on the landing at night guarding the kids rooms. If the youngest has a nap during the day he parks himself outside the bedroom door and will only move when the youngest wakes up. A ****ing nightmare with other animals tho....
