    I don't believe that is necessary the case. It's if those on the panel see the case put forward as frivolous then they will extend the ban.

    Like it or not he went over the top, right in front of the ref. Agreed a red card was very harsh - it looked like a booking to me - but there's no way we will get this rescinded. He's just been very unlucky but to risk a further game or two out on the side-lines just for the sake of chancing our arm is madness.

    I think it's unlikely that they'd see an appeal as frivolous, even the opposing manager thought it wasn't a red card.

    We've really got nothing to lose by appealing, I don't believe they will treat it as frivolous.

    RK may have seen it differently if we'd won? But I agree we should appeal.

    We should appeal as we have nothing to lose. If Huddleston gets a three game ban, we're down.

    Hopefully it will be downgraded to a yellow.

    For me it is harsh also due to the fact that in the game we didn't have one yellow card, if it had been a dirty game with yellows flying about you could understand him going for a red.

    Vast majority of panelists on TV football programmes over the weekend thought it was harsh. Koeman thought it was harsh. Dermot Gallagher in his piece thought it was harsh. Every ****er thinks it's harsh.

    Appeal?

    Yep = 4 game ban.

    FA ****s. Must be related to the Allams, they know FA.

    Maybe the result will depend on whether any appeal is heard before or after a liquid lunch.

    While I dont think it should have been a sending off, have seen them given. Probably 30/70?
    Arent the appeals more for the total howlers?

    Whatever the outcome I think it's more ammunition for the argument to introduce video refs for straight reds and penalties. By the time the players have stopped arguing with the ref and and amongst themselves the correct decision could be made.

    I think you call it right, it was the kind of tackle that you can see a red card given for - the ref was right on the spot with a clear view, from his line of sight he thought it was a red.

    You pays your money and you takes your choice - for me, it wouldn't be a frivolous appeal so there may be no added penalty if it's knocked back. He'll be a huge miss if it's not reduced to a yellow.
