I have just read that the Ref for this one is the same Mr Sarginson who was in charge of the Argyle v Leyton Orient game earlier this season................WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG.

There isn't much to say about this game really. It isn't going to be easy is a bit of an understatement and not particularly informative for anyone either. Everyone already knows that. Pompey have been in good form of late and have stopped doing their slip up thing. Also scoring multiple goals for fun. We have continued our remarkable away record this season with our 13th league game last Saturday. I think everyone would probably settle for a draw before we kick off which would suit us more than them. The bookies make us 4/1 for an away win. That is a rediculous price given our record but then it's cash that makes books in betting and Pompey have a lot of gamblers in their ranks.

The game is a sell out so the atmosphere should be top notch. I hope that the stupid element from both clubs keep their behaviour in check and this is a great advert for this league. Not many fixtures in League 2 would be a sell out and given it's also on TV makes it even more remarkable. May the best team win on the day.............COYG.:D:D:D:D:D

At the Hyde Park Social Club BC. I can't afford to be a member at a Country Club or buy golf clubs.

There nearly giving golf clubs away in charity shops these days sensible.....just say your a plumber friend of Joe's and they will be doffing their forelocks to you and letting you in.....they might frown at your old school plimsolls for golfing shoes....but they wouldn't dare throw a friend of Joe's out.

Please let us win. If we win against you, and again against Notts then we will get promoted (if we win) in our game vs Cambridge, and I'm taking my gf to her first Portsmouth game. Wouldn't it be nice if her first game is seeing us getting promoted?

Although that's assuming the teams below us don't drop points.

Best we can offer you is a sniff at a draw PompeyLapras. First game for your gf? Is it your first date? Don't see why she shouldn't be broken in to football the hard way. We've all suffered the disappointment of failure before now so best she get used to it at the start. It is the norm afterall. I hope she isn't one of those hooligan types who will run on the pitch.

Never quite got the golf excitement Plym so I won't be looking to get any clubs anywhere. When you think about it it's a bit like taking your dog for a walk. You throw a stick and he runs after it. In golfs case you whack a ball and then chase it yourself. So in reality it's a game for sad people who can't afford a dog........

Bleddy hell BC I've just realised you are up and about having posted less than an hour ago. Are you too excited to sleep? Joe does mean Torquay. He couldn't find a parking space for his private Jet on the French one.

When I'm attending home matches, no other bugger can be bothered to post a thread, apart from 3rd eye :emoticon-0127-lipss

PS. Don't forget to leave your green flares at home sensible, when you go to the club to watch the match :)

Don't tell anyone Wooperts but I think we have Donald Trump posting on here as Joe. Business done on the golf course and he belongs to a Moronic Lodge. Gotta be him surely.

The difference is that it's HIS gold course Joe, or one of them. A little known fact is that an ex head greens keeper at Carnoustie now manages his hairstyle.

Regardless of the result I'll eat my hat if we don't both go up automatically.

Should be a great atmosphere with the two noisiest sets of fans in the one ground!

I agree to some extent wot Joe wrote. This result probably doesn't really matter. I will be surprised if we don't both go up as well. You may have to wait till the playoffs but should make it in the end...:D
