Well sensible seeing your are now in charge of the bar....I hope that you have been getting on top of the ordering....and not just the crisps and salted peanuts.....plus the re-training of the Barmaids.....which should be quite easy for you with your service training......maybe Lindy could help you.

Balloons and bunting in green and white of course.....for the moment we get past the winning post.....don't forget to invite Mrs LaLa and that other part-timer Plymjools.

Hang on since when was I in charge of the Bar? I do the cellar and the ordering of snacks. I want it put on record that I have never instructed the Barmaid to do anything. Well I was in a panick one day and asked her to get me a stiff one. She gave me a straw and an elastic band. Strange girl.......

If, and it's only a tentative if, you were willing to put a kitty behind the bar for the staff party then I might consider sorting out the end of term ball. Several hundred squids might convince the staff it was worth putting it on. I of course wouldn't benefit. Well I might escort the barmaids on a weekend away somewhere but that would only be out of duty of course. Wouldn't want them to be in any danger.

Anyone know where Mrs Lala is these days? I quite miss her and the seagull. I think Mrs Jools got disillusioned with it all. Sort of understand that but she could at least say hello from time to time. I think all you boring old farts frightened her off..........

Yes i was a member at St mellion, then as a country member at Lanhydrock.. Now i just play at corporate events or at elfordleigh. As in the industry everyone we deal with has access to golf at the local courses, so no point being a paid member now days.

    Do you play?

Looks very nice, i like hole 12.. Yes you loose a bit of distance as you get older.. what is your handicap.. im now on 11. was lower but not been playing enough.. But i have just moved premises for the business and some of the businesses have a golf club that they do once a fortnight at Bigbury.. so may have to give it a try... How often do you play?
Brown envelopes you need plym, they are popular.. I don't need to hand many out. But it does go on..

The main contract we have is on merit and good work.. from Penzance to Southampton.. we cover... for a major housing association.. based in London

    • Blimey.........just looked up a website that gives the green fees for this place. The first thing it says is that it includes warm balls. Very friendly establishment obviously. No wonder you go there BC.

I've just done an inspection of this very dusty and sad establishment. Nobody has been in here since April when AWAYINBC was warming his balls before playing golf. Even my nuts have gone mouldy. The Barmaid was renting out the stock room to a family of illegal immigrants so I've had to let her go. On the plus side the illegal immigrants have agreed to work for board and lodgings only so we have saved a bucket load. That nice Mr Brent would be proud.

Anyway, use it or lose it members.
