Alex Jarvis has tweeted a report that lander sports have pulled out of a deal to buy a stake in Southampton. Maybe they fancy East Yorkshire instead...hopefully
Serious question, has this guy actually brokered any deals with any football clubs in this country, see his name mention a lot with potential buy out's, but have any off these deals gone through.
Whether he has or not I am not sure, but he is a bit of a tosser IMO, he is always tweeting he is flying here and he is flying there.
Chinese football regulations only effect Chinese football, they pulled out of the Saints deal mainly because the price went over £200m.
Not so They have to get government approval to allow them to buy it, and Beijing are reining in 'irrational outbound investments' Of course the price may be the main issue, but Chinese government policies do effect whether Chinese can buy foreign clubs http://uk.mobile.reuters.com/article/idUKKBN17J00K
That's not football regulations, it's financial regulations and as I read the articles at the time, it was about the price being too high.
Our local news tonight reported the deal was off due to new Chinese football investment regulation, the newspaper said financial
Tomatoes tomatoes (pronounced differently) No it isn't 'regulations' but the Reuters article does say the Chinese Govt are focussing on sports investments when they decide whether to approve or not
Resign yourself's to the fact that they are not going to sell. If we stay up Ehaw will only see the PL money, if we go down his valuation of the club will be double the real price. I hope I'm wrong.
Is this just the next excuse to not buy anybody in the summer? Every time there's been a transfer window, we seem to end up in the middle of a takeover which then falls through.
Don't know if this has been mentioned in any other thread but Alexander Jarvis has tweeted he's heading back to London as a deal is getting close.
