I've backed him, so desperately wanted him to do well but that defeat today should see him sacked. On the back of the midweek win we should have been going into this game with a bit of confidence, sadly it's just a new day, same outcome. You're just not up to it Johnson. Lansdown, you need to bring someone in promptly. We're not a terrible team, just a good one on a terrible run. It's very fine tuning that is needed and LJ isn't the man. Thanks for everything last season Lee, but your time is up.

It's a difficult one. Haven't been able to make many matches but from what I've seen (Reading and Fleetwood) and what I've read online it seems like

1)we aren't too far away from winning in a lot of games

    2) a lot of goals conceded are from mistakes/ are good goals

    3) we have looked frigid when trying to attack, particularly in midfield.

To sack Johnson, a new manager would have to be able to better him in those areas.

However after this very bad run and the amount of fans calling for him out plus a 2 week league fixture break. I believe that this may be that time for a departure. But I'm not 100% convinced

Told you all when the runt was appointed what kind of useless tw*t he was with a record that never deserved a Championship appointment.
Just as he never deserved to play for BCFC.
But hang it was because he pissed in my cornflakes that I didn't rate him.
At last, you've realised how wrong you've all been.

Ps - heard him tonight sounding so pitiful.
    I haven't been so happy since I don't know when ........

Not sure that any real fan has anything to be happy about right now. It's not about your obvious hatred for Johnson, it's what's good for the club.

He should be fired based on his results, not his personality.

Have to say I agree with Tampa here Redprint you're blind hatred has made you miss the real point. We all love this club and to say you're happy just because you was correct, makes you look very small.

Well three cheers for you mate, but why call someone a "Runt" and a "Useless twat", was it his fault he was signed to play, was it his fault he was appointed Bristol City manager (or coach), you should lay the blame elsewhere, the man tried his best as a player, and tried his best as manager, certainly his best is not good enough and should be sacked immediately, but to demean him like you have, just shows what kind of person you are, think you said on another post that you employed plenty of people in your working life, blimey aren't I glad I wasn't one of them.

Where's the proof he tried his best as a player? Again, everyone on this board could try their best, doesn't mean we warrant a place on the pitch.

Something could be said for wanting be his own man as well and not make an ENTIRE career off of his dad's coat tails. But he didn't, as no other manager was willing to put the stock in him his dad did.

He now has an opportunity to walk away and be a man about the dire situation he has created. But he won't, because he will wait for his big fat payout.

Luckiest man in football that I've ever know in 30 years without question.

Agree with what's said, redprintt you're a bit out of line with personal abuse. I understand your frustrations, we're all feeling them but we're not happy about the situation we find ourselves in. 10 games ago Lee Johnson was doing a great job, its funny how things change. He hasn't got the knowledge or leadership skills to drag us out of this mess.

I won't lie, when we appointed him I felt a little underwhelmed, but I bought into the project and up until November it was working. I still believe in it, we just don't have the right guy at the moment to foresee it. Things will change, we'll stay up, but only if a new manager is assigned.

    Exactly
I know where the blame should be laid and it's not at LJ's door.
I never hated him as a player but he was average, but I like many others was very underwhelmed when he was basically GIVEN this job with no credentials to say that he deserved it.

Look closely in the mirror Mr Lansdown (and Ashton?) and look what a mess you've made.....again.

Now leave it to someone else who knows what they are doing when interviewing for the Managers position.

That's his issue, and quite why they gave him a contract extension when he'd done little to earn it is also beyond me.
Glad it's not my money being wasted here.

Really couldn't understand why that was offered, the one thing possible, was unrest in the dressing room,Lansdown wanted to show the players who was boss?

They did exactly the same thing with Andy Robinson with the rugby, I could see myself (and know very little about rugby) that was a mistake.. The decision making down there is baffling sometimes?

    Absolutely agree.
I took absolutely no pleasure in deciding this after the Cardiff game.
Lee loves our club - like Tinnion did, and it isn't good for us that it hasn't worked out. But failed it has and if he cares as much as he says then he needs to step aside.

The board will have to make a decision eventually. It will become a financial necessity.

We were told well before Xmas we would be given the details about taking the box for next season if we choose to, but we should expect
    massive price increases!

We haven't heard and as far as I am concerned I wouldn't take it with a massive price DECREASE..

They must know.. the stadium will be empty if this carries on much longer..
