The results over the last four games should be filling me with a degree of optimism and hope for the next season. We are playing quite attractive attacking football that is pleasing on the eye and getting results Instead I feel slightly cheated because I so desperately want Mick to go that any credible results (which the last four were) are treated by me with a sense of disappointment because the better we perform the more likely he will stay I know this makes me sound somewhat churlish but I just can't seem to be able to enjoy our upturn of results and performance Even now Mick is ruining it for me Although this might say more about me than him On another note I am praying that we make a move for the Cowley boys when their cup run comes to an end These boys are going places and I believe we have a chance of getting them if we act fast and decivisly
I'm not sure that the Cowley boys would be the answer as they are still unproven at this level and at a club of our size. Getting results in one off games is one thing but doing it over a full season in the intensity of the Championship is another matter altogether. If we do replace MM in the Summer which seems increasingly likely then I hope that Evans goes for Gary Rowett and quick! I bet he is laughing his bollox off about what has happened to Brum since he was shown the door!
There haven't been many vacancies since Christmas that I can remember FM. I just think that he would be ideal for club, just my opinion.
The fact that we are playing decent football should be enough.. Long may it (hopefully) continue.. Whoever is in charge It should be about how the players on the pitch perform rather than the bloke in the tracksuit stood on the sideline.
Good post Scowey. I just want a team that tries to win games, if Mick can do that then all well and good.
