He's out for the season and probably the first half of next season.....at least the beginning of it. His leg was flapping around.

Disgusting. Vile. And I hate the argument of 'he's not that kind of player'. Bollocks. These twats probably love English football in the 70's and love these kind of challenges and think the game today is full of pansies.

Stuff your hard man bravado bullshit. Cowardly

Anyone saying thats not deliberate in total annoyance at bale being carded and suspended has never played the game imo.

He deliberated left griund two footed and scissoered it to make damned sure Hgge got him.

It's the act of a coward. It was intentional. Even if he didn't make contact, the little tosser should still be banned.

Didn't watch the game, I hope it is punished and Coleman makes a swift return for next season. Hurts our push to get as high as possible. But opens the door for Holgate to step in at RB and make a real claim for the spot.

Was asking Tobes on the PL thread..Mccarthy did his hamstring in training minutes before the game...he was Dodgey going into the international break..can't see your manager being pleased at that...

No he didn't. He slid in, ball was bouncing slightly and he unfortunately caught Coleman on the shin. It's not a nice tackle, clear red card but nothing more. It's unfortunate that both were going in hard and the 2 forces combined to make a serious injury.

Clearly not deliberately tried to hurt him, tried to take the ball and man like all full backs do when tackling and Coleman just got there milliseconds before.

Horrible for Coleman and hope he comes back ok.

Have you seen the replay? I don't want to post the video but there's a clear second phase to the challenge which has nothing to do with football and is just assault.

Go give your head a ****ing wobble, it was a hideous and snide challenge, nothing 'unfortunate' in terms of its intent

Not often I commend your posts on the game, but I do here, as you're spot on

Take another look he is off the ground with both feet. Hes done it cos bale got away with only a yeelow for a clear kick moments earlier.

    Totally deliberate.

Oh and nobody takes man and ball like that in the game today.

If coleman was unhurt he would still be off.

So a disastrous international break thus far for everton then.

What will the team be like for this game then.
    .
Not sure mccarthy was starting anyway imo. Coleman is a huge loss.

It was a nasty tackle and a bad break. Coleman will be lucky to be playing next season. Bale also did a nasty tackle just before the Taylor/Coleman one. He will be a big loss to Everton, certainly one of their best and consistent players.

It's a bad tackle and it shows that this attitude of cleaning out man and ball can be dangerous, imo Taylor is going in there to get the ball but with the intent of if no ball I'm taking the player out. Result is horrible.

Less talk of the tackle, more talk of how quickly we all get to see him back and flying
