So after beating teams beginning with M in the last week the Wenger Boys have demanded that last years Champions are now known as Midlands FC in their quest to fight their way into the top four.

The win over Manchester City was truely remarkable with the Ox winning the MOTM award...narrowly ahead of the linesman and the woodwork who both defended heroically to deny City goals.

This is where arsenal claw themselves up the table and like a drunk crawling home in their piss stained trousers, the rest of us stare in disbelief as they yet again stagger through the back door just as the clocks sound midnight.

This year they have left themselves more to do...it's now like watching a drunk in pissed stained pants (as they swapped their trousers with the local wino for a swig of their turps) trying to crawl home using only their lips...yet after the last 10 years of watching this disturbing yet enthralling spectacle, I ain't writing them off.

Midlands FC now have nothing to play for and so it is hard to know what their attitude will be but thank **** it is at the emerates cos we won't be subjected to those ****ing clacking things they use cos they find hand clapping too difficult due to their webbed fingers...allegedly <whistle>

If Arsenal win it'll put them back in the hunt for a top 4 spot and will confirm that this is a "Wenger in" week...however a loss or a draw will make it a "Wenger out" week, making Arsenal TV compulsive viewing for all the BFB's (Blud Fams Bruvs).

Leicester have injuries but arsenal have Xhaka so they even themselves out.

Arsenal.have a new tactic of actually trying and Midlands FC have recently changed their tactics from "sack this twat who has done nothing apart from making us champions" to "playing for the love of Shakey".

My prediction...as it will be windy and rainy Wenger will struggle to do up his stupidly long quilt with sleeves.

Another brilliant write up and you had me in stitches at the drunk wino bit. You've described our uncanny ability to reach top 4 every season and this ones going to be everybit a struggle.

Have to favour Arsenal for this one, they have everything to play for and Leicester none. Also we're starting to actually play so a result should be on the cards.

    Arsenal everything to play for...
    Leicester nothing to play for...
    Arsenal starting to actually play...

These are all normally reasons for Wenger's Arsenal losing aren't they?!

Well it kind of is, but a real reason is to either win the PL or save yourself from relegation. Top 4 isn't a trophy but the financial windfall that it brings makes teams desperate to qualify for it. The CL has become a money spinning tournament and represents everything that is wrong with football right now. They should have kept it either the Champions of each league or the top 2. They've diluted it so much that it's become predictably boring. I mean, they have 4 bloody teams qualifying from the PL, and when was the last time an English team actually threatened to win it. They shouldn't call it the Champions League anymore, as it's false advertising, more like the Privileged Few.

I agree with this - but as you say, it has become a money spinner for Uefa as well as the clubs. TV again influences this and I wouldn't be surprised to see some type of amalgamation with the South American federations.

Have been saying this for years but was accused of jealousy.
CL football should be for CHAMPIONS.
It is and always has been purely money making. Wenger mocked spurs (as did Arsenal fans) for celebrating winning the 2008 Carling cup ... he said that it was pointless winning a trophy and not coming top 4 as top 4 was as good as being a trophy.
I have no idea where we came in 1981, 1982, 1984, 1991, 1999 and 2008...but I can tell you what trophies that we have won in these years since I began supporting spurs in 1974 as a 7 yr old.
Football is about excitement, good football winning and nearly winning trophies ... or rather it was until top 4 took over.

Unfortunately it has. It's now become a desperate bum rush to get those coveted top 4 places. But I'll admit, no other club has benefited from this as much than Arsenal and Wenger has done well to lock us in top 4 for so long. It's brought us so much money and built us into one of the richest clubs in the world. We are finanical future proof for the next 10 years at least.

Interesting line up tonight, going with 3-4-3 again. With Monreal and Bellerin on the flanks we should have some great speed down each side, which should keep the Leicester fullbacks in their toes.

Also with Gibbs on the left at the back, we should have enough speed to contain Vardy.

    Anyway, here we go
    COME ON YOU GUNNERS !

Nice bright start, knocking the ball around well, but nobody making themselves a target in the box. Sanchez and Walcott need to find some space instead of coming deep to get the ball.

There are few Arsenal hating pundits out there like Pat Nevin, Chris Sutton that make me want to give them a slap when they are commentating on our games.

Unlucky Sanchez at the end there. We need more of that in the 2nd half. Played well, but with nobody wanting to shoot. I'd give it 10 mins in the second half and bring on Giroud. We are getting tons of space down their flanks, but we need a target man in the box.

Been a pretty uneventful first half.

    Xhaka has looked decent.

Yep, he's done well. We just need somebody to start shooting. Leicester will happily sit back and defend their line all evening, we need some threat in the box.
