Corbyn saying you should not give your enemies ammunition. Good advice, try taking it, Jeremy.

On it's merits, it was a good speech, and regarding foreign policy, Teresa Mayhem said something similar a few months back. But there's ammunition there if you wanted to spuriously imply apologies for terrorists and ignore the fact he implacanly condemned them. Lucky the Sun and the Mail take an honest view..... er.... well.
    Anyway.

A decent speech any other time but in an election campaign. We know what the Sun and Mail are like, why help them? Politics is a dirty business, no point in being prissy about it. Harold Wilson understood this, played them at their own game and won 4 elections. He also kept Britain out of the Vietnam war despite pressure from Lyndon Johnson but did not shout about it. I think it was 1967 he presided over the first year since the war that no British serviceman was killed in action, but did not shout about that either. He understood politics. Corbyn doesn't.

The Tories stepping up the assault on Corbyn for his links to the IRA. Next I expect will be his links to Hammas. The attack dogs have been biding their time, watch them go now the election is entering the home straight.<monster><monster><monster><monster><monster>

Unless they stop playing the laughable view that May is strong and stable card, and doing no positive campaigning they will fail to get a workable majority.... One more own goal and she might be toast.

May has no principles and is a political windmill, turning whichever way the wind blows.

Wee George Osborne is piling into the Tories, the IFS is lumping them and Labour together as economically dishonest and illiterate<double>. You can see why their campaign will be all about Jeremy Corbyn from now on in. Actually it always was.

It's not enough for Mrs May to win the election, she has to win with a greatly increased majority. Supposedly this would strengthen her hand against the 27 countries lined up against her. So anything less would weaken her hand and cast huge shadows over her judgement. It would be hard to imagine her fighting another election.

Paxman nowhere near as good as Andrew Neil. Almost a parody of himself. Missed several opportunities to pose problems through his lack of spontaneity.
