Not sure he's ready to face Linares.

 

Great opportunity for Luke but it will be a massive ask. I foresee a performance full of heart and desire but ultimately falling short. Hopefully I'm wrong.

If linares shows up anything like his best Campbell is getting KO'd.

Hope I'm wrong but Linares is absolute quality and I can see one sided affair.

Is Linares that good? I aren't familiar with his work. Do think Lukes gotta to go for it. He's 29, now or never. Difficult for him as he turned professional late, so small window of opportunity. But then 'suspended' his career for a year (?) as his dad was terminally ill, and he wasn't in the right frame of mind. Dads as much a fighter as he is and still around, so I guess had to resume. He is a massive family man, and hates living and training in Miami away from parents, wife, kids So absolutely deserves the opportunity.

 

Agreed it's a huge step up could be good for him though, if he catches Linares it could be game over. Although he totally outfoxed Crolla I fancy a big shot from Campbell on the early rounds tonne the difference

 

Luke can win it, he's a better than Kevin Mitchell who had linares down. It should be a great fight.

Really? His missus is loaded so he doesn't have to get anywhere near to the ring. The sacrifices he is making have nothing at all to do with a pay day.

 

Modern day boxing isn't a patch on what it was, as the matchmaking tends to be one sided, but modern boxers can only work in the system.

In and out of the ring, Campbell has shown himself to be a 100% decent and genuine human being and a professional, and he's earned the right to have a go.

I'm confident in saying he'll give it 100% in the ring, and whatever the result, he'll still come out with maximum respect, and if he loses, it won't be for the want of effort or heart.

 

It's all about money otherwise you wouldn't put yourself through it.

 

Many amateur boxers climb into the ring.

 

Linares is quality has to be one of the top pound for pound fighters, not many outwork crolla but linares did , its scary how fast and accurate he is

Will be interesting seeing him up against campbells speed though as campbells far more evasive and wuicker in attack than crolla, could be a good tear up if campbells chin can take the shots
