Monk has bought Britt Assombalonga and Martin Braithewaite in the Summer, and with reports that Ashley Fletcher is also on his way, Gestede may b surplus to requirements!

According to the Bristol board Flint has left Bristol and is going to Middlesbrough so that's good. Also I wouldn't want Monk's cast off's. I recognise the connection with our DOF but being principled, it's a no from me.

And Yeah it's Friday and it's the evening here

Wood, now there is a quandary.... 20 mill cash would be good and he had a really good year last year will he repeat it ? I don't think he will score all those goals again especially as 90% of them he never meant to score. It's a gamble but I think I would sell.......

 

Morning all. The Wood thing depends on his mindset. If he wants to stay I wouldn’t sell at any price. No point. If he wants away however, that would be different

 

I'm a big big fan of Gestede actually but wouldn't see the point of bringing another striker in personally

 

Also heard we are distancing ourselves from the Helander link which is a little disappointing if true

 

Chris Wood scored goals because he was in position to score. You don't lose that he will score goals this season.

 

Yup agree he was the right man last season, and right place etc (LL dig there mate) just not sure he will get the space this year teams were catching on last year

 

Morning all it's new away kit day.i would prefer to keep Woody and spend the money on some experience for the defence.
I think dons statue should be moved but not sure where.present site looks like someone said "oh just stick it there.going to be a rush tomorrow as i'm working now
mihgt have to go straight from the job.

 

absolutley horrible kit it is rubbish.so now we have to play in funeral coolours.what the hell are they thinking.

 

Got to disagree I think it's a bold move and personally like the kit.

 

do you remember who started this colour and who had a big problem with the Grey shirt with players stating they could not pick it out.

 

Think the black away kit is a very bad idea.

I like our away shirt better than the home shirt normally I buy both home and away but this year just the one

 

Isn't your away shirt Pink this year ?

 

if it was I would buy 2 and keep one for sunday best

 

Like the new away kit. Can't see the reason in comparing it with the scum grey kit, black is not grey, and they only used it as an excuse for being hammered by Southampton.
