    Cork beaten by a point by division 4 Waterford. Scored ONE POINT from play, and 2 in total in the first half.


    Looooooong year ahead. The Rebels make 4 trips north in the league.....have to go I guess.

    I guess the real new low is the news coming through that Cavan lost a man for an alleged racist / sectarian remark towards Drew Wylie of Monaghan.

    Poor form if true.

    Wouldn't get too excited about football in January, counties are at different stages in their prep because they start back at different times.
    it'll be last 2 or 3 rounds in the NFL before you can make any real judgement on how a county is looking

    Fair enough... would be a result you would expect in hurling rather than football but what sort of side did Cork have out?

    Strong enough. When things got tough, they went to the bench and brought on more seasoned campaigners but it made no difference.

    It is early doors and there's nothing quite like a knee jerk reaction..... But that's not good.
