So the Vikings put all their efforts into keeping Peterson and doing **** all of any real note in free agency. Traded for Mike Wallace who is a decent WR when he can be bothered but has a history of throwing tantrums and refusing to play, signed Shaun Hill as a back up QB and a couple of special team bodies aswell. The only half decent thing that has happened is managing to get picks for Cassel from the Bills somehow.
Oh Cassel, I miss him. I don't care how rubbish he was (he was still better than Ponder) I'll always have fond memories of him. As with Petersen, whether or not we're going to keep him seems to vary every day pretty much
http://www.si.com/nfl/2015/04/15/aaron-hernandez-guilty-first-degree-murder-odin-lloyd Hernandez found guilty and sentenced to life. Glad justice has finally been done.
So sad that he wanted to be a gangsta. Yet had a life many would love to have. Glad he will rot in jail.
49ers have had a terrible off season and I don't expect them to be great next year. Really interested to see how Bridgewater progresses this year, the last 5 or so games last season he was showing some real flashes of being a franchise QB that the Vikings haven't had for a long time. What are your thoughts on Peterson btw? I still think he will be traded before the end of the draft, hopefully for a starting corner and a first rounder (though that may be wishful thinking, but has been rumoured)
Cops want to talk to La’el Collins in murder investigation, not a suspect http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ollins-in-murder-investigation-not-a-suspect/ New Hernandez? Or witness?
Not sure about Peterson, despite being an awesome player in his day, after an entire season off and a year older, will he be the player he was before? Plus, if his heart is not in it for the Vikings, perhaps it would be worth trading him. Then again, that could royally backfire if he is still the player he was. So it sounds like we signed Trae Waynes and there's some hype about him on the Vikings social media. For those who watch College Football, is he any good?
Seen a mixed response for him, I don't watch college football so not sure myself but most seem pretty happy. Supposedly the best corner in the draft and Zimmer is very good with defensive backs, most people complaining are basically saying that Vikings should've taken a different position (Parker the WR), rather than Waynes is a bad player
When you ain´t good enough for the first, second or third round one year, that won´t suddenly change the next... some complex he has...
Don't think it has anything to do with whether or not he is good enough, more whether or not he is charged with murder
Pretty pleased with Vikings draft so far. Would've preferred Parker in the first round, but can live with Waynes. Shocked Kendricks fell to our 2nd round pick as I thought he would've been gone long before then, so delighted to get him. Not overly happy with the 3rd round pick as the guy sounds like a real project, but Zimmer has a good track record with players like him, but the O-Line is still beyond useless. If they can somehow get TJ Clemmings then I will be very happy with the draft, but they need to get some O-Line help desperately and probably another receiver.
