The Rolex wasn't pawned, it was gifted. The current board would be as negligent as previous boards have so obviously been if they didn't explore every avenue to try and rid us of these disgraceful contracts. You ridiculed the previous board for signing them. Now you are ridiculing the current board for trying to get them changed. Never let your bitterness get in the way of any logic though.
The answer is fairly simple don't buy the jerseys. The strip thing is an absolute racket anyway. Sell little blue T shirts that say get it right up you zero contract **** and donate the money to the club. If we're not going to make any money out of it we should make sure he loses more. This is obviously totally impractical in terms of sponsorship, but the guy is a parasite.
The guys a fat shameless fool. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what you feel about rangers, you just need to look at newcastle and sports direct to make an informed opinion on him. Hes the sort of businessman that exploits loopholes, does the bare minimum, then ends up bankrupting everything he owns by the time hes 60. All the while the thousands of people he employs end up right up **** creek and he lives out his life in a sun soaked villa somewhere far away from the prying press. I don't think Di Canio is a **** cause he played for Celtic. I think hes a **** cause hes a **** stain of a human being.
The trouble with the Sports direct contracts is that if SD don't sell a certain amount of units then the club has to make up the difference. So if the fans decide to boycott the strips the club pays through the nose. This is just my opinion. I think we can expect the ongoing police investigation into the Rangers takeover being broadened to encompass the previous boards behavour. The fact that they were so biased in favour of one shareholder to the detriment of the many is certainly illegal.
Why would I be bitter? I don't give a flying toss about contracts or loans that Ashley gave Rangers, and you can't keep blaming previous boards for all that goes wrong, you got shysters, crooks and con men on your board because of the actions of David Murray. That's the bottom line.
It was A previous board. The only reason Ashley was able to get his claws into Rangers is because Rangers fans refused to allow the Clumpany to die.
Look Dev we all know the history. You know who I blame for the shambles that is Rangers. I have made my thoughts on the matter quite clear on numerous occasions in here. You yourself have commented about my attitude towards SDM. At the moment though Murray is incidental. Sure ultimately it's all down to him but how far back do you want to go. Should we blame Greame Souness because he signed Terry Hurlock? The current situation with these SD contracts needs to be looked at. You would expect your club to do the same if they were in the same position. It may well be nothing can be done about them. Only time will tell. You really can't blame them for trying. Even if, as you claim, you don't give a **** either way. Pretty hard to believe that by what you have been posting here though.
I don't blame them for trying, all I'm saying is that Ashley is highly unlikely to back down, he has Rangers exactly where he wants them with his 7-year rolling contracts, he has deep pockets, far deeper than Dave King and If I was to put money on who will win this battle my money would be on Ashley. King is trying to make it look like he's ready to fight for the sake of Rangers, he's in truth only fighting for his own sake. How much money has he personally invested? If Ashley had not lent Rangers money and players, would they still be a going concern, after all, no one else was throwing money Rangers way?
There were multiple offers for finance on the table at various times. All were Ignored in favour of Ashley and these contracts by a board showing blatant bias towards a single shareholder. That is the whole crux of the matter. You know all this.
Indeed, but how can you be sure none of the people offering finance were likewise basing these offers on "Onerous" contracts?
Because they said the weren't and told anybody who would listen what their offers were and what they expected in return. Plus none of them owns their own sportwear retail firm. Are you acting the goat or are you trying to grow a beard. Yer arguments are reminiscent of Hoopster in his pomp.
