On the news today was the story of the shock inside FIFA about the arrests for corruption within.

A Billion football supporters throughout the World were also shocked to the bone. Their shock though was that anyone within FIFA should have been shocked by the revelations. A Billion supporters throughout the World have been telling people about this corruption for years.

And Blatter still stands for election again...........the man has no shame does he.

He want's the election to go ahead on Friday.....possibly before he get even more tainted with what's going on....and he runs out of cronies to vote him back in......this man must go.....and the 2018/2022 world cup venues where bought by the highest bidders......no wonder England didn't get any backing for their bid.....and this was the final nail in PAFC's world cup bid disaster......the rest is history.

I just don't get it plym. The radio, where I first heard this today, sort of treated it as shock news. I suppose the shock could be that finally somebody somewhere had done something. But, everyone with even a fraction of a brain knows that this has been going on for donkeys years. Even the Mafia are less brazen than that lot. The pain we were caused was by greedy people on this side of the Channel given an opportunity by FIFA rather than FIFA being to blame themselves as such. The decisions for the WC were always going to go to the highest bidder and we could never compete with an Arab State or Soviet one if it was intent on getting the competition.

Did anyone listen to Blatter on the News this evening? He isn't responsible for anything to do with anything at FIFA apparently. He is shocked like everyone else it seems. That bloke is a genius. He wants to be re-elected tomorrow and "every little thing will be alright" allegedly. Absolutely classic.

Hold the front page folks.........Blatter won the vote. No really he did win it.

Now is the time for all of those people who said lets blank FIFA and not take part in their stuff to stand up and have the balls to actually do it. Sod FIFA and let them run their corrupt crap all by themselves without finance from mega rich backers. Lets see how long they survive and how far down the pan their egos will let them take football. Let Europe set up another organisation and invite the rest of the World to join that. Strip Russia of the next tournament and Qatar of the one after. I do not believe it's too late.

Blatter gives the impression that he is pleased that FIFA will be facing FBI investigation and the bad guys will be rooted out.

How can this happen on his watch without him knowing that there where problems.....he is either completely stupid or the biggest crook since Al Capone.

It's a bit like watching an episode of Mr Bean isn't it. So far fetched to be not possible.

You have to laugh at some of this really. The way Blatter stands there and blames all and sundry at the same time as absolving himself of even the remotest knowledge of any of it with a staight face and not even a flicker of a smirk on his face. The media have been reporting corruption of FIFA for years so I guess he never buys a newspaper or watches any news on TV anywhere either. He should complain himself because they obviously treat him worse than a mushroom at FIFA HQ.

Latest news is that Blatter's daughter says it's a conspiracy against her dad. He really isn't going to resign is he. Classic and you totally couldn't make it up.

I wonder what kind of dossier he has on them all? The only less convincing words I've ever heard from anyone was an American President who said "I never had sex with that woman" whilst she was waving her stained dress at the camera.

Drip by drip the info continues to flow outwards. We now find out that some of Europe's finest voted for Blatter. The French for example. Dyke thinks that unless enough boycott then a boycott isn't worth it. Or in other words I don't have the balls to make a stand against this corruption even though it's the right thing to do unless all the big boys join in. Or in other words I'll be doing nothing despite my mouthy statement previously.

Joe .......are you trying to say that Sepp Blatter has resigned.......how can all that time and money that was spent last week to elect him evaporate in half a week.....what a shambles.
