i've not been keeping this updated.... Too damn busy watching.

A terrible Meath vs Westmeath match on just now....so naive.

Derry v Donegal yesterday was entertaining, close but more negative.... I'lol never be happy.

Well that match turned around. Totally crazy defending from both sides.

Westmeath turn around an 8 point deficit to win by 5.

They'll be crucified in the final.

    Meath shat the bed totally.

    Poor quality.

Kildare and Meath are both really awful these days. I've no idea what happened to Kildare but Meath are soft compared to the dirty years of Meath football which was 1895-1999. Too many cameras around these days for them to get away with anything.

Gutted that Kerry got that bloody point at the end but for a team that are "the least rebellious in Ireland" I thought Cork were great. Fair play to Joe whatsisname on RTE though "that ref would not know a penalty if it bit him on the area". Quite...

The 45 for O'Neill would have sealed it but he ****ed it. Goulding was on so I'd have let him take it..... Hindsight is 20-20 though.

Joe Brolly is mostly a **** but occasionally I'll agree with him.

It was a very harsh penalty wasn't it. Cork shaded it overall purely on their good 2nd half display. They've definitely nothing to fear in the replay, the had O'Donoghue kept reasonably quiet today which is half the battle. I'd fancy both Gooch and Darren O'Sullivan will start the next day. I doubt Kerry will be pushed around the middle like that too so it will make interesting viewing.

O'Neil had a stormer of a game and he's not prone to missing kicks, it happens to the best time and time again. He won't be the last. His overall game came out shining and he can hold his head high knowing he did his part. Kerry will definitely feel they dodged a bullet but can a "soft" Cork team summon the mental strength to overcome them in the replay I would have my doubts.

They did much better than I expected tbh. I feel you have to take any of the top 4 the first time round. Cork are probably 5th.

I'd have black carded Donaghy too who was instrumental in the lead up to the penalty... I might be wrong about that tho... Maybe a yellow was right.

Paddy Kelly played well coming on for Kerrigan and Alan O'Connor showed why he came back. I don't know how much Cork can really change it up or whether they'd want to. Hurley was out of the game a lot but he sorta has to play. After 2010 I kinda have man love for Goulding do I'd like him to play.

I spoke to him briefly on Easter Subday as Cork lost to Derry. It was a dead rubber as Cork were through to the semis and Derry were already down.... But **** it, it was 25 minutes up the road. I had some Cork gear on so Goulding says "did you drive up this morning".... Delivered in a tone as if to say... Sorry you drove all that way for that ****... Sending he didn't want my life story "I'm from London mate".... He looked confused.

Anyway, another trip to Killarney on 18 July..... Supposed to have a club bbq that day.... Never mind.

Joe Canning scored one of the all time great goals today in a losing effort.
TJ Reid is the best hurler in the country at the moment. He's absolutely flying.
Limerick eased past Westmeath aided by a goal that went 3 feet wide.

This black card is ****e...Kerrigan got one albeit it was last ditch stuff but I'm sure Kerry had 2 of the very same tackle made and a yellow showed ??? If it's the same tackle should it matter?!

You should have told Goulding you did drive up and ask for money and free tickets for the season as reimbursement...worth a try!

I'd agree with most of what you say except Richie Hogan just shades it for me for the best hurler.

Onto next weekend now. The mighty Loch Garman will be sending the Doire boys marching home after a cosy 1 point win

It's petty but I begrudge giving KK any credit at all.... But they're great.

Not the best of times to be making the trip to Derry.... What with it being the 12th weekend. The throw in time or even venue haven't been set I don't think. I imagine it'll be out at Owenbeg though rather than Celtic Park

Owenbeg it is as you said. Sensible move. Wexford are certainties now!!!

Our Under 21's gave the cats a scalding this evening too. Shame we can't progress that to senior level. I guarantee if the same 15 meet in 4 years time KK would beat them comfortably.

I watched that this evening, that was some trimming KK got.

Wexford kinda took their foot off KK's throats for the last 15 minutes as well.

Earlier this evening I was chatting with a guy on the edge of the Derry panel. He hopes to be on the 26 this weekend. He's not sure what to make of it. Eoin Bradley is away out playing soccer out foreign on Thursday night..... Risky.

Our club have an u8 blitz at Owenbeg on Saturday .... I'd normally be out there for it but there's a camogie blitz at our club so I'm doing **** at that instead.

I'd say Wexford will be up against it. They are a young side and not that physical to be fair. I'm hopeful, but my head say's Derry will just shade it with their physicality.

Yeah, they'll be up against it but i'd not be surprised if Wexford did the job.

Derry are not that much better than Down ....if at all.

Derry get through rather comfortably in the end as I half expected. There's a few lurking in the qualifiers whom they won't mind and an All Ireland Q/F may well await.

Limerick currently beating Dublin and Cork and Clare will be a tight contest later on...I will go for Cork to shade it.

The Dubs are already celebrating their Leinster football final win over Westmeath too!

I fancied Limerick and Cork today. Limerick left loads behind them but Dublin were great in fighting back.

Cork and Clare hit 5000000 wides between them. A frustrating kinda match but I'm glD at the result. I was chatting to someone at the Derry game. They said it was pretty boring. Tyrone beat Meath by two. Tipp win by loads.... Bloody loads.

Kildare had a decent win too.

Fair play to the Dubs... They hung on at the end.

Antrim beat Down in the only untelevised provincial final by one point... They left it late too. Roscommon shat the bed against Fermanagh and lost by a point.

Tipp got to grips with waaaaaaterford and did a great job in running out handy winners.
