Hamiltons complaints about the Mercedes handling were pretty obvious but now Rosberg has chirped in with the car being "a bit all over the place" and that he wasn't happy. What the likes of Alonso and Button would give to have a car handling as bad as the Mercedes!
Indeed, poor Susie Wolff not getting a mention. Or did you win Will Stephens? But to be fair, not606 doesn't recognise Will Stephens either, as he is never in the list for best rookie award for a GP.
It's a rare occurrence but... http://www.not606.com/threads/canadian-grand-prix-awards-2015.303083/#post-8015708 As for Susie Wolff, I think it was Pat Symonds during practice who said: "We don't treat her any differently from any other driver..." Well, why mention it then? Patronising and sexist, while trying to show that he's not, I'd say
I know I'm really late, I'm competing in the Island Games. Can I pick Hamilton? If I'm too late, not to worry
Surprised me, always thought he had been motorsport media/journalist. I was at Silverstone in 88 (outside of the old Becketts corner) , so I guess I have actually seen him race!? Wikipedia (always 100% accurate), says
In other news it's been confirmed that McLaren are using this season to get revenge on Alonso Andrew Benson @andrewbensonf1 1m1 minute ago Word on the street is that Alonso used one of Button's tyres in qualifying. That'll be disqualified from qualifying if confirmed
Tough to watch those pair powerless at the back of the grid. They just have no weapons to fight with. We need an F1 where the racing is close enough for the likes of Button and Alonso (and a few others!) to be able to have a say. Horner coming out saying Renault have misjudged modern day F1- wonder if Dennis may echo similar sentiments about Honda?
On the bright side at least Alonso has a car fast in a straight line to get through the pack.... It's all gone wrong for those two and the team, the chassis seems not up to scratch either, just slow in all areas
If McLaren were even operationally sound I'd have some sympathy for them, but mistakes like that are laughable. They're absolutely falling apart in all areas, despite their budget I don't think they excel at anything right now.
