That was actually borderline madness from Meyler. Brave brave move, he stuck the horse up the back of those in front and couldn't even see the final hurdle just to hold his position.

If you want to see an example of UK racing being stupid then have a look at the 18:35 Bath- there should be a stewards enquiry and result overturned but there won't be.

Horse on the near side beaten a head after being taken all the way across the track in a prolonged final furlong battle. Ridiculous really.

    What the duck.

Stewards Enquiry correctly overturns the result! Crikey- a rare bit of common sense!

Sorry to p*ss you off, Reebok (actually that is not true), but if I think a 9/4, 2/1, 7/4 shot is going to win a nineteen runner handicap, I leave the race alone because I can find better 7/4 shots most days of the week in less competitive smaller fields.

Just as well the race was not five yards longer or the 20/1 shot would have saved the bookies a packet. I do not think too many will be rushing to back the winner next time as the handicapper has raised it another 10lb on top of the 3lb penalty that it carried today for winning easily at Newmarket last time.

Good luck with 2/7 Minding tomorrow...
