Firstly I want to put my hands up and say I was wrong about Pardew and he now has my respect, i am so grateful of the fine job he is doing.

I still hate Ashley and until he [Ashley] sells up, we will always be watching our back
But this article is not going to be a negative one about the fat control.
At last I now look forward to the weekends and how match of the day finishes the day of nicely.

To be honest it now feels more special then all those years ago when we expected to win games [the keegan days]

Whats great is the way Pardew goes about his business these days and i understand all the early broken promises he broke to us, were just the ones broken to him before hand by idiots further up the food chain.

We are NOW united as a team and have a very disciplined back line along with a blend of quick one touch attacking football.

We still don't have strength in depth but lets hope Pardew gets rewarded for his hard wrk and is given the funds to really wrap up wot could be a SUPERB season.

Fingers crossed Sunderland don't sack agent Bruce as I believe he is doing a sterling job for us in screwing them up good and proper.

Has it really only taken until now for Pardew to prove to you that he is a good manager? He ended last season competantly and has shown on many occasions this season that he puts in a hell of a lot of thought and work into game plans for each game. Find it hard to understand why anybody would take so long to warm to a guy who has been bringing in good results for months on end now.

Fair point, however a manager needs to be fairly judged on a DECENT amount of games either way.
Last season I was unsure as it takes time for a manager to bed in and i still believe he made mistakes last year with his tatics and line ups and the way we folded like a pack of cards against wba on the last day of the season.
BUT its all a learning curve the best bit is he has learned from those early mistakes

I always thought he was a good manager when he was with us, and was a bit shocked/disappointed when he was sacked. Of course, that worked out for the best ;)

I thought it was good of Pardew to say that he didn't think it was a penalty, most managers will argue a case, no matter how ridiculous, Pardew had the dignity to say that you got lucky with the call. As a gooner, i must thank you for making Man Utd look very ordinary.

Yeah he seems to be a pretty honest guy, there's been a few times now he's been frank in post match interviews about when we were on the ropes or should have done better. He usually gives a fair analysis of the game unlike some managers, *cough* Pulis *ahem* Sralecks *cough*.

I was a fan of him when he was WHU manager. He had them playing decent football and the 2006 FA Cup final is still one of my favourite games of all time. I'll admit I was disappointed when he became manager because I was a big fan of Hughton, but Pardew has done a fantastic job with very limited resources under the two most unpredictable ****ing arseclowns in world football.

You're a memorable chap! <ok> Some people are memorable for the way they quote, while others are memorable for posting Kevin Nolan lookalike homosexual porn gifs on the Sexy Poll. Be thankful you aren't the latter!

Oh that we could be tested like this all the time. With the same result of course.

The true test is surely in the reverse fixture to see if the players can play in front of their own fans. We still haven't really played anyone yet.
