  1. Do I need a slap? Or has Perch looked good as a sub CM in the last two games?

He played his part in the goal at City, and I believe almost set up Ba for a goal vs Manure?

He's crap at CB, but he's not that bad at playing 15-20 mins to help defend a draw or win.

He would have scored the most spectacular own goal you've ever seen if it hadn't been blocked in the last game.

Think you just need a slap. I'll give you one on Saturday.

    Yes and yes

Others have said he looks better there as well. Perhaps he is improving, but currently I think he's too much of a risk to be considered. I would rather move Tiote out of position to the back and get Colo to guide him than have Perch at CB.

At CM I see no reason why we couldn't send him on as a CDM as you say, towards the end of matches, just to test him out and give him experience there. This would of course be saved for smaller/non-league fixtures though, when we are leading with a good margin.

Ultimately, I haven't really seen enough of him to judge, just enough to see that he can't hold a CB role.
