Hey Sports Fans! – Better late than never, it’s The Official CanariesSoccer Match Center for the ballgame featuring: Canaries @ Toffees

    Live from GoodYear™ Park.

Last time out in The EPL Canaries defeated a weakened Magpies Franchise Four versus Two @ The DeliaDome™. Magpies were without their first choice central-defensive-linebackers, and Coach Lambert exploited this by deploying his 1-2-1 midfield-line, featuring W. Hoolahan as C-A-M. Score attempts were converted by S. Morison, W. Hoolahan, and talismanic S-A-C G. Holt.

Coach Lambert: “I thought we played very well and we deserved to win. Grant Holt is as important as he was two years ago when I joined. We’re competing with teams and we’re definitely a handful. If we keep that enthusiasm and desire then we’ll see what we can do”

The success of the 1-2-1 midfield line has been something which has been proven over Coach Lambert’s three series in charge, however in recent matchups he has opted for the midfield-blitz, deploying 5 midfield-linesmen in an attempt to prevent the opposition-offense from running their preferred plays. Whether he will go for the midfield-blitz, or 1-2-1 versus a strong Toffees franchise remains to be seen

Toffees have had a disappointing start to their 2011/2012 EPL series, and currently sit two places below Canaries in the divisional-standings, making this matchup a real mid-table tussle. In recent matchups they have defeated Trotters, but have lost in ballgames against Potters and Gunnerz. Their overall series record stands at 5-8-1.

Coach Moyes: “We were fortunate to reach half-time at 0-0. At the break we sorted things out and were better in the second half. I've got to give credit to Van Persie, it was a great goal. We didn't mean to give them chances but they're a good team”

Toffees will fancy themselves as favourites for this matchup, and their strong defensive-line will undoubtedly cause the Canaries score-attempt-converters considerable trouble, however if Canaries can show the form which has seen them comfortably remain in mid-table all series, all three points could be there for the taking from this matchup!

This sure is going to be a great Soccer matchup, so fill up your Coca-Cola™ tankards, get your hot-dog's and grab a seat for this smash-and-grab matchup, brought to you exclusively on Not606!

tough game to call this one. on the face of it, everton are struggling a little, especially at goodison so we can realistically target this one for a win, but they still have some very good players. i particularly like the look of coleman. i'd be happy with a point to keep the tally ticking over

    Great stuff PC, always entertaining!

Hope we do as well as the only time I've seen the Canaries at 'Goodyear Park' when a certain 'Effin' Ekoku (as they called him ) scored 4

Could be a good game, they're struggling going forward with Cahill not yet to hit top form so we should stay very positive I think attack down the right when baines has to go forward to do bilyaletdinovs job for him!

More than happy with a draw from this one. They haven't done well at home so far, but talking to some everton fans at work, they have been playing quite good football, but not sticking it away, so hopefully their inability to hit a barn door when almost touching it, will continue

Excellent as always CS, somehow though I don't think we're in for much banter this weekend as the Everton board is like the 'marie celeste'

Kick off, throw in, have a little scrimmage,
    Keep it low, a splendid rush, bravo, win or die;
On the ball, City, never mind the danger,
    Steady on, now’s your chance,
    Hurrah! We’ve scored a goal.

We traditionally do well away from home against teams who play in blue and white.

As Jim Bowen said, "you can't beat a bit of bully".
They just love to slag of anybody who doesn't have trillions to spend or play 50 passes before you get past the half way line. 10 headers we've scored this season and I haven't seen anything to say they count for less than a Man City goal.
Tony Pulis just loves the people who love to slag him off.

Unchanged line up. Would like to see a bit more from Surman today. I consider Pilkington very unlucky not to replace him but I'm sure PL has a plan in mind. Don't know whether Holt and Morison will get the same change from their defence. Lets hope so.

I think we have the ability to change things considerably if 'plan A' isn't working. we are now proficient in playing a few different styles.

Russel Martin off the line yet again. I don't think our midfield have touched it yet.

Safe Rusty Martin! Shame Naughton one booking away from suspension now. Really long period of Everton pressure finally over.
