Lets see what happens http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/7405438/Foxes-fail-in-Stewart-bid
If they offer £3-4m will the Allams be tempted? I hope not, as I think he is worth more and will play a vital part in our push for promotion.
I've heard this from a different source, but this source may have got it from Sky Sports News -i've no idea.
Let's be fair, this will be the first of many for Stewart, Chester, Koren, maybe even Hobbs. I think he'll get at least one of them.
Maybe a cash plus player deal??? For instance,David Nugent coming our way and a couple of million quid... Either that or Leicester can go and swivel....
money does talk, but id be disappointed if any of our players wanted to leave a club in the top 6 for one in the bottom half of the table, maybe in the summer, but we have a better chance of the play offs this season, and im hopeful most will see that.
I expect we'll see plenty of bids - even silly ones - being made to us during January. I expect them to be handled/rejected in a similar fashion. Our owners have clearly stated as far as I'm concerned they do not wish to sell any key players in January. I am actually quite surprised that L£$tuh $hitty even bothered to make an offer for any of our players. Don't they realise they are wasting their time? Did they seriously think the Allams would sell one of our players to that turd of a midlands crisp packet club after the issues over Nigel Pearson? It just goes to show how deperate Nigel Pearson is right now, and how clueless the Thai Lady Boys are in Lâ¬$$ta board room. The power of Thai Foxes eh?
I doubt NP would bid £3.5m considering a year ago we signed him (albeit at a bargain price) for £300k. He'd probably offer £1m-ish and then work his way up depending on our demands. Although I imagine our answer has been '**** off' rather than stating an actual asking price.
If 'kingpower Leicester come back in with £5m, then I think we would take it. Hopefully we can get Chester sorted out with a better contract as well.
