Much too early to tell but out of the youngsters, he is on par with Wilshere on skill level but Wilshere has been given the time to prove it.

Out of our squad only RVP and Sagna are truly world class. Yes i said Sagna, he is the best right back in our league and he any top side would buy him. Some other players have the potential but they have to prove it over a long period of time....

    Yeah,Sagna is really underrated.
I think him and Richards are the best RB's in the prem.

Time will tell Adam. He's certainly very enthusiastic and has started the season in the various competitions meaning business which can only bode well for us

Currently my top 5 Arsenal players are:

    RVP
    Sagna
    Vermaelen
    Koscielny
    Chezzers

Obviously things like this are massively subjective but these have been my favourite performers recently (bar Sagna/TV). Were he healthy I don't doubt Wilshere would be in there, not sure who for though. Possibly TV... Alex undoubtedly has talent and will be a real star but he's not proven it yet.

*special mention to Rosicky, Song and Arteta. All of who I also think are having good seasons (first 8 games aside....).
I never apologise. I'm sorry, but that's just the way I am.

Its a good start but he has played nowhere near enough to say something like that. I would put Sagna, Vermaelen, Szczesny, Wilshere, Koscielny and Arteta above him at least.

I would say Vermaelen, Koscielny, Sagna, Song and Van Persie are the world class players in our squad. 3 of them are defenders!

Players that have the potential to be world class: Szczesny, Oxlade Chamberlain, Miyachi, Frimpong, Coquelin, Wilshere and maybe Joel Campbell (We don't know much about him yet)
Formerly Bend it like Bendtner, Score it like Samir, Wank it like Wilshere and SamuraisShadow.

So far I see potential world class in Wilshere and maybe Szczesny. AOC lookes a good player, but so far he has not shown much outside a couple on neat tricks and good runs which mostly end up with nothing. He still plays like a lower league player with a gift for a trick. Defensively he is nowhere near. It does not work in Premier league. It is way too early to talk about him as world class.

He's definitely the real deal, he's got skill, power and technique to burn. But to prove that he's a great player, he'll need to demonstrate that consistently. Plus he needs to develop his defensive duties.

Some people slated Wenger for spending £15m on him, but at the moment he looks like he's going to be worth every penny and more

at £15m he is overpriced, he is lively and playing with confidence, i dont buy the argument that arsenal are a worse team without wilshere. arteta, song and ramsey is an excellent midfield trio, the problems with arsenal lay at the back, and with back up for RVP, injuries have played a big part for arsenal this season, no team can lose 5 full backs, they've been extremely unlucky in that respect

Ox is flavor of the month right now. He is an exciting player that is everything the English like.

However most of what he does is actually ineffective, even as much as it is exciting. Despite 'great' performances against Manchester United, and Villa, he has yet to register an assist or a goal. Walcott and Arshavin (who of course are condemned as crap by public opinion) both have more goals and assists over their last similar minutes.

He may turn out to be good, but has a lot to learn. I'm going to get slayed for this, but Walcott is far far better at this point.

This kind of Hype isn't good for Ox, he is going to have bad games and he doesn't need the pressure. Also, as Wenger tries to increase his effectiveness and team play, his game will change, and everybody will say he has got worse, when in actual fact that will not be true, he will just not be beating four players to end up at the corner flag, exciting and useless.

So ability A+, effectiveness not so much. Wenger is the right person to get him on the right track, but to suggest that he is "One of our best players" is not close to the truth.

He most definitely assisted van Persie for the goal against Man Utd.
He's not a world beater at this stage, but everyone can see how much potential he has. He's direct - runs at players, and can beat them with both tricks and pace. He's naturally more of a CM than a winger.

Really? Seems a waste to have someone who is so good at taking people on in to somewhere we there is no room to dribble. Besides does he have the brain for it?

Yes. He has a fantastic range of passing, and can spot a ball - ala van Persie against Man Utd.

Quote: "I’m not too sure, I’ve always been a centre-mid...[But] recently, going into the first team I made my name out wide on the wing and that’s where I had success, lately...As long as I’m playing football and I’m an attacking kind of player so either way, midfield or forward, I’m always going to be more attack-minded and put my own stamp on the game. If I’m playing in midfield I will still run at people, you know, be a bit different."

Right now my concern is the Euros. Anyone else worried about him going? For me it'd add to much pressure on him at this stage. I think he will be a superb player but would like to see him brought on gradually. Who knows though, I could be wrong. Jack seemed to cope with all the pressure with no problems whatsoever so maybe he could too. I think the majority of young players would struggle though.
I never apologise. I'm sorry, but that's just the way I am.

To be honest i cant get over how mature he is for an 18 year old which i think will give him the advantage of being able to deal with the pressure. I think he would thrive in the England team.
just came across this video he has just done, he talks about wenger, henry and his arsenal life. http://www.theplayersnet.com/alex-ox...arsenal-video/
Just check how relaxed he is! can deal with the questions more confidently than many experienced pro's! gonna be class this kid!

    1.Van Persie
2.Wilshere- people seem to have forgotten him already. But he's one of our best ever young talents.
    3. Sagna
    4. Vermaelen
    5. Chamberlain - seems to be improving all the time. Great potential.

OXO is miles better than Walcott. He doesn't lose the ball anywhere near as much which, for us, is vital. Against Man U the way he kept the ball and was able to beat players allowed us to get back in the game and boss it for periods.

There is more to contribution than assists and goal scoring. Walcott loses the ball far too much.

Remember Hleb ? didn't score or create much but ran at players and hardly lost the ball, vitally important for us to keep the ball.

    World class- RVP.
Good enough for Top4 - Chesney, Vermaelen, Kos, Arteta, Wilshere.
Sell - Djourou, Walcott, Bendtner, Denilson.

Might make top4 std - Oxo, Sagna, Merte, Ramsey, Gibbs.
Must improve - Song, Jenks, Chamakh.

    probably missed some.....

Sagna not a top four player? He was in the PFA team of the year. He is without doubt a top 4 player and one pushing for world class. Apart from that, spot on.
