Sky Bet update: Money for Wayne Bridge to Sunderland. Now 4/1 having been backed at all prices down from 25/1
Hmmm. No idea how I feel about this, never really rated him, but didn't think he was ****, more average/overrated. He is a proper left back, so I could see a point to it.
Don't really rate the lad at all - was terrible for West Ham when I saw him (sure George McCartney got picked ahead of him!!) Not my cup of tea but we need a proper left back and MoN knows more about the game than I do - wouldn't be one that I would choose to sign but MoN has got extra from players I didn't think were capable already...
Well I could see it being an option, Richardson looked a lot better further up field, we need options up fron so bringing in a LB would solve two problems in one
He's better than Ricco and i'm not having a pop at Ricco, he's just not a LB. Wages would be a stumbling block, he'd have to drop his demands but reckon he'd jump at the chance of ressurecting his career.
Not having a go, but it's finding them that's the stumbling block.........Taiwo could have been the answer for a LB as a loanee.
Didnt know we had any interest in the bloke, but as you all say , the wages would be a problem, why not Samba? when that blokes on the pitch you dont need a defence, the bugger pops up all over the place, not many get past him.
Think Samba is after a big move to a CL side mate that's if Blackburn let him go, agree though he would be an excellent addition to our first 11.
surely must be on loan this lads wages are far to high for us. a loan till the end of the season would be a decent deal as for a permanent deal no thanks, totally overrated
You mean left backs actually exsist?????? I thought they were just legends and mythical creatures like dragons and unicorns!!!
Rather have him at LB than Richardson............ but thats not saying much If we do get a LB, I reckon Richardson will be relegated to the bench at best, can't see him dislodging Mclean at left wing, not when he's flying at the moment.
