Yes - Lets change our entire formation and playing style to accomodate a player that has scored 5 goals in 18 games and then got himself suspended. How can you possibly say this and expect to be taken seriously?

I don't see why? A little while back everybody was proclaiming that Caroll was the best player in the world, and Torres? You wouldn't get too many people saying they would improve us. And if you think changing a 4-3-3 to a 4-4-2 would be easy for us, you know nothing about football.

Let me remind you you said that not a single player who has been signed by any other club in the world outside Chelsea Man City and Man Utd could have improved Arsenal. That's is one of the most ridiculous statements I have ever heard - and could only have been made by someone who really doesnt know a thing about the game .
I did not make this statement. This is the statement I made:

Nobody has been able to suggest one single player that has been transferred to any club in the world in the last 2 years, that hasn't gone to a club that can out-bid us, and that would have certainly improved our team

Which is completely different. While it is fun to speculate on whether Tiote or Parker would have improved the team, that is all it is. There is no certainty that they would have joined us, or that they would have improved the side significantly.

No, you simply refuse to accept that any would. Most other people would agree with most of the people mentioned and could come up with dozens of other examples. It is just too boring making a list for you to refuse the player is any good. Pointless really!!

However, almost every lurker on the thread will have had the point made for them!!!

Never mind not finishing in the top four but if we fail to win anything again this season Wenger needs to go plain and simple. He has been given too much time the longer he stays the more we decline. If you can't beat Birmingham in the final who can you beat.

We will never ever win anything under Wenger

Mate, the way in which we lost to Birmingham was cruel. It's things like that that mean that Wenger shouldn't be given an ultimatium at the end of this season - win a trophy he stays, finish empty handed he goes. It could come down to penalites in the Champions League final and his job is decided on it - score he stays, miss he's sacked. It's too rigid and is a naive way of assessing a situation in my opinion.

I certainly wouldn't sack Wenger without an alternative lined up. We need to work out what would be better than having Wenger in charge. i realize that the prevailing view is "Anybody," but that isn't even remotely true, when it is carefully studied.

Wow this article is far too negative. The only player i can see leaving is RVP. But this really comes down to if the right club comes along.

Even if we miss out on champions league qualification, i doubt if Wenger will go out and buy anyone big, and if he does, they will be low key names. We'll pretty much go with the same squad. If RVP does leave, then Wenger will use either Walcott or Gervinho as our main striker and OXO will get a permanent place on the wing.

The only way i can see Wenger buying is if we have a really poor end to our season, but that seems unlikely....

Yes, because 'statistically' speaking only a manger with a proven track record of league and CL trophies can do the job properly.

    Oh, hold on.....

....Err, wouldn't that have discounted our two most successful managers ever, including our current incumbant?

So you write rubbish, pretend I said it and then ridicule it. Really juvenile!

Did you see the question mark after that statement?
