No, it was like a 'guffaw', like an outbreak of tourettes or something.

Happens when I think of a cultured Leeds fan.

How's Siberia working out for you, Loiner? Warmer than Yorkshire in any case.

Yeah, well Jeremy Paxman and Mark Lawson are Leeds fans, so SHOVE IT.

It's a laugh, you know? When I came here to Irkutsk, I was expecting toothless beggars, AIDS-ridden crack whores and vodka-addicted bandits strewn across the streets lobbing Stanley knives at anyone they deem an outsider. It's fulfilled my expectations completely. And it's still nicer than Bradford.

    Smashing lake too.
"Leeds are a big club with great traditions... It is clear that their supporters are very important to them. They back their team all the time and make it tough for their opponents. Those fans are amazing, such loyalty and support."

Who, in their right mind, would brag about being in league with those two?

just to clear up the chant, it seemed pretty obvious to me what the bolton fans were singing/droning.

it was: 'delia's right, your fans are ****e'.

to be fair, they arguably had a point in the first half - we were fairly muted, not that the bolton fans (of which there were only about 400) were a whole sight better. however, 2nd half while attacking the barclay, we got right behind the lads from the kick off and the atmosphere was a million times better. i'm going to put the quiet first half down to the cold - it took some adjusting to! once we all started bouncing in the 2nd half we all warmed up

could not understand a word Bolton "fans" were chanting, did not care just loved watching our brilliant boys give them such a hiding, pity Holty did not connect with a few and get the score to where it should have been 2-0 flattered them a lot.

Worse fans for rubbish this year have been QPR and Chelsea but they are Londoners and live in a dump the are right to be jealous of our wonderful county with all its beauty, feel sorry for the poor little dears so cant criticise them as they have enough to cope with already!

it was a match which really should have ended up 4 or 5 nil. amazingly, match of the day made it look pretty even!

4/5 - 1. That it remained x - 0 was down to John Ruddy's long arm and big mitt, otherwise Petrov's corner would have been bundled in by Eagles.

I went to Bolton once, it really is a **** hole, nothing and I mean nothing going for it what so ever.
Just a bunch of fat people wearing Asda trainers and washed out replica football shirts, which I took to be their best clothes,
joining the queue at the social to collect their dole money.
In the summer a load of them migrate to Yarmouth, it's funny to see Fat dad, fat mum and fat kids in the same attire as above,
(sports gear FFS) heading straight for the chip stalls on the market, where I assume they then spend the biggest part of their holiday.
If it's so great 'up north' as they all keep going on about, why don't they just do us all a favour and stay there?

even bolton's ground is a let-down. it looks great when you're approaching it from the outside, lots of character for a new-build stadium, unlike many of the flat-pack looking ones, but then you get inside and its rubbish - grey, plain and boring! i suppose i'm trying to say its grim up north...

Stop 'trying' to say it and just come out with it.

It's a miracle their stadium is still there, I'm suprised that someone hasn't nicked it to joy ride in.

A false alarm forced Norwich to evacuate Carrow Road before the kick-off but when the game began the home side were the ones on fire, laying siege to the visitors' goal from the start.

Were you in the Barclay stand, might have been easier to distinguish the meaning

yep. obviously a lot easier to hear the away fans from the barclay, especially when they only bring enough fans to fit on a skateboard
