Who do you rather have starting? Oxo or Gervinho?

And to make it interesting, why?

(I know people will want to write "get theo off" but that will not happen.)

I think there's enough games with the league, Champions League and FA cup to give them all games

To be honest, i can see Wenger benching Walcott for OXO and Gervinho. They simply provide a better balance and harmony up front and combine better with RVP. Walcott will be benched and used as an impact sub. Of course this depends on Walcott, will he go on a good run of form after his 3 assists on the weekend? Unless Walcott has a dreadful run of games, i can see Gervinho being benched for a couple of games for rest from his ACON return.

I think Wenger will still prefer Gervinho and Walcott as the main starters, and he'll mainly use OC as an impact sub.

Very true but if Walcott doesn't pick up his form then he might be forced to pick OXO due to the need to get results in the league. However, Walcott's form should improve after his 3 assists. I have a feeling he will have a major impact against AC Milan....

    Geronimo and Oxo to start.
Once RVP has had enough- put Walcott in the middle.

When Geronimo or Oxo need replacing put Arshavin on.

Im guessing that Wenger is building Walcott up to play in the middle for us. Walcott clearly states he wants to play centrally and i think this will be one of the main points he will bring up when discussing a new contract. Apart from Joel Campbell, Walcott should be our next central striker (RVP permitting). Well unless of course we buy a new striker.....

I'd play them both in the league but in the champions league play Walcott he always seems to perform in europe they just can't deal with him destroyed barca last season I think.

Is Walcott ever going to be a striker who's lethal enough to play in our system? He doesn't hit the target enough and I don't see him ever having that particular side to his game.

There is something very wrong if wenger continues to pick walcott when gervinho returns but yeh it could easily happen, i think that wenger will give oxo a few starts until lets say mid-march, then either walcott will get dropped and oxo and gervinho will start or it will be gervinho and walcott until the end of the season, really hope that isnt the case and that wenger finally gives up on walcott because clearly oxo and gervinho are streets ahead of him.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is still, let's not forget, a kid. He's not ready to be starting all the time.

In a cup game or something experimental, but...

    Szczesny
    Sagna Mert Kosc Verm
    Song Arteta
    Walcott Chamberlain Gervinho
    Van Persie

    Could work?
Formerly Bend it like Bendtner, Score it like Samir, Wank it like Wilshere and SamuraisShadow.

RVP really likes playing with Theo though. He makes space for RVP to run into. It's no coincidence that alot of RVP's goals have come from Walcott crosses.

I'd have Gervinho over Oxo too -just- but make sure Gervinho knows that he WILL be benched if he doesn't start finishing off chances abit more consistently. I think our problem is in the hole where Ramsey has been playing.
