That's not actually what Cahill said you little twisty fibber.
After an emergency operation yesterday the Spurs board had one of two massive ****s removed from its side.

    Exact words were,

'I was lucky to stay on the pitch because we all know that Howard Webb is in Fergie's back pocket and will give any decision he can in favour of his favourite club'.

"I have seen the replay and sometimes when you go through the player and across the player to get the ball they are given against you, so I was fortunate to get away with that one but if you see the direction the ball moves I think my studs actually touched it first."

He thinks he touched the ball but admits he could have been in real trouble. Should have been a free kick and a red.

No, he must have touched the ball because the ball went the way Cahill was playing and not in a straight line the way that welbeck was going. Meaning if you had ever played the game you would know you can't always feel the ball when making a slight contact with the sole of your boot. That's why your referee didn't give it, but welbeck knowing his chance had gone now plays for something and deliberately falls over Cahills legs.

Technically he should have been booked for simulation and sent off the the second half for doing exactly the same. You rags never want to win off your own backs and are always looking for someone else to inspire you in this case Howard Webb, how ManU.

Cahill admits he fouled Welbeck and yet Welbeck should have been booked for simulation. Strange your blinkered view neglects to make mention of Luiz's dive right at the end of the game!! Should he have been booked also?

He never won the ball. Welbeck got there first and Cahill took the man not the ball.

Not necessarily. Welbeck could easily have knocked it that way in an attempt to keep the ball away from Cahill or to draw the foul. I still haven't seen a replay that conclusively shows which of the two players touched the ball. Just another one of those ones that will never be fully resolved.

Lol Robby, how can it be simulation if there was contact both times? Cahill admitted he went straight through the player in an effort to get the ball!

Still loving the comeback , feels so great knowing we showed chleski how to play football at their ground, should have had at least 3 pens so god knows why the scum are still whinging. Anyway with Drogba in tehir team surely it is Karma coming back big time, as much as I respect Drogba off the field, when he is on it , single handledly the most serial diver in the world.

Chelski chavs should admit their glory days are long over since the abu's rolled into Premiership town, no longer can Abramovic bully his way throughout the transfer market, and listen to your fans gloat about wealth and euro domination (which never happened) instead he is left paying ludicrous prices for somoene like Torres and not paying to buy Aguero (how you must hate losing out to city on that one) as Torres was his personal preference .

Now with United we have quality from cradle to grave unlike chelski, so we can pick players from our world renonwed academy be it Welbeck, Cleverly and Pogba and bring into the first team, Therefore we are not held to ransom by 30+ players ala Lampard , Terry. So please stop looking for excuses for your faltering empire, give the portugese gnome some time get rid of the deadwood and play attractive football as on Sunday you looked like a glamourous Bolton in teh Allardyce years, stop living off the Mourinho years as even he could not bring your euero glory. It won;t be long before Roman jacks it all in, and you will go back to being a middle table club with a couple more pages in your history book which is slim pickings as it stands for content.

He moved the ball from the path of Welbeck and Welbeck tripped over Cahill's trailing leg. You're a massive idiot if you can't see that, even my QPR friend can see it.

Diving is minimal or no contact being made and the player trying to con a ref into giving a decision that he shouldn't.

Making a meal of a challenge is something Drogba has done to try and get a decision he probably should get anyway but feels he needs to exaggerate the contact to get the decision. Something that is very common on the continent. If however you can show me proof of where he has dived with NO contact I will stand corrected.

You should know what a dive looks like. You had Ronaldo in your ranks for 5 years (likewise we had Robben).

Eh? How do I sound like a glory hunter? Every time a United fan puts across a string well tought out point your mob on here say Glory Hunter, it was the same with 606 back in the day. Put it this way if you knew my age, and found out how long I have been supporting Salford Reds / Newton Heath / Manchester United FC - the humble pie you would be due to eat, would choke you.

drogs the cornish glory hunter, sold plymouth argyle out for Chelski, the worst type of football fan and the reason small clubs are dying in this country.
I would wager that 99% of the chleski fans on this forum started supporting the club after 2004 , do you need me to send you a pdf explaining the offside rule etc?? and the history of football in this country? who knows you may educate your little petty minds and discover there is more to football than glory.
