I think all Chelsea fans from pretty much the 80s-modern day era in particular will know what I mean when I say the media in this country have an almost palpable hatred of this club and its supporters.
Ridiculous examples of heinous anti-Chelsea bias can be seen in examples such as this:

Even a human tragedy is turned into libel against our club.
But this past week I have witnessed levels of bias against us that has even surpassed events of recent years. Those of you on Twitter that follow journalists etc will know what I am referring to with this media campaign to slander our supporters by saying booing Rio Ferdinand is now deemed racist. If that were the case then Evra, Valencia, Welbeck, Young and Giggs would all have been targeted. It has nothing to with the fact Rio Ferdinand is just a **** of the highest order and assaulted one of our female stewards as well as one of his OWN supporters.
I personally wouldn't have booed Ferdinand, but I object the race card being thrown about at every opportunity, as an ethnic minority I find it incredibly insulting.
I am tired of Chelsea and our fans being targeted by the media at any given opportunity. When Evra was booed at Anfield I didn't see any journalis worth their salt condemning their fans or accusing them of racism.
Nothing is mentioned of the constant abuse JT and Cole suffer at England home games or the constant bile we get from those East London pikey's about the late Pat Lampard (coincidentally the wife of one of their own legends) or Matthew Harding (which I have heard with my own two ears many a time at West Ham games).
I wasn't around in the 70s and 80s but I know of how daunting Stamford Bridge was for away fans back in those days, but it seems only Chelsea (and Milwall) were given the reputation of having a high % of hooligan fans when media darlings West Ham and then later Spurs were just as bad. Right wing groups used to try and recruit at several football grounds across the UK yet only Chelsea get a mention with this.
Even fans of other clubs that I know (including Man Utd and Arsenal) have even admitted to me they see the media as having an anti-Chelsea slant.

We addressed our race problems with black players such as Cannoville long before Liverpool Everton etc got their first regular-starter black players.

The media is anti-Chelsea? Really?
So the fact that The Daily Fail was assisting the oligarch in his efforts to tap-up Moddy don't count, then?
Every club's supporters think that the media is against them. So, at best, the media is against every team.
The reality is, of course, that you attract the media attention that you warrant. Rooney is United's press nightmare, Balotelli is £ity's, Whinger is Arsenal's, and Terry is yours. If Terry didn't keep screwing-up, the press wouldn't have anything to report.

Spot on DL! I have also made comment here over the same thing! In the reports on yesterdays game, most that I've read were whooping it up that MU , not only for their comeback, but they were unlucky not to win! It makes you wonder if we were watching the same match!
We all know you don't need a verdict now. Just ask the f.a......
You assume Terry is a racist and we'll assume Harry is a tax dodging brown envelope wielding criminal with a knack of leaving clubs just before they go bankrupt. We can only hope the maris pipers are next...
