    Really???

What he said didn't seem that bad to me.

Sooner they sort out technology the better then it'll be much harder for refs to get it wrong or managers to moan about it.

Oh ffs. Dalglish does it every ****ing week, same as Wenger .

In my opinion, refs should be interviewed after the game aswell much like the managers are. That way we as fans can see why they gave poor decisions.

All I read was the title missed the word not and saw £12,000 in a sentance. Skim reading does not always help. Would be so annoyed if the FA fine him.

Apparently Fergie won't be charged for his comments about the linesman - which, if AVB does get fined, is ridiculous - Fergie's comments were far more personal (in terms of singling out an assistant ref)

But yet not nearly as bad as the Spurs fans who abused Sir Chris Hoy for his performance as a ref in a premier league game

I'm going to try and say what I think.
Howard Webb is as close to a cheat as it's possible to get. And he's a lousy referee. Remember he gave 3 yellow cards in a match between Aust and Italy ????? Never been seen before or since.
AVB at this stage in his career is not strong enough to be Chelsea Manager. Partly because of experience, largely because of internal goings on.
    Abramovich has 2 choices.
    1. Act impulsively and fire him.
2 . Back him and remove all the factional players causing the problem. No doubt there's a split in the dressing rooms because AVB is trying to rid Chelsea of the very players who have ruled the roost unchallenged since Mourinho . These are the same players on the huge wages that are the core reason for discontent from the majority of other players. And this situation was created by Abramovich himself.
Citeh fans take note. This is the path you are now travelling.
    So, Fine me.

I'm split with AVB think if he was sacked that would mean Mourinho being Chelsea manager in the summer if that doesn't happen on the other hand I will give him time to build his own team and see where it takes us.

That was Poll not Webb with the 3 yellows wasn't it?

Apart from that, I agree. If I were in Roman's shoes in the summer I'd have given Hiddink the job and had a look what AVB did in the CL, if that had happened we may all be talking about the return of the special one this summer.

I read Roman was in training watching AVB for hours! Never does that so something must be happening but we paid a lot of money to get AVB in so it won't cost tuppence for him to be sacked. I say we let him build a squad over the next few years. We've been mugged off by a lot of referees this season so it's not entirely AVB's fault.

These are the same few players trying to hold on to power in order to keep getting the obscene wages that are the core reason for the discontent . And this situation was created by Abramovich himself.
    3. Abramovich needs to rid himself of his "advisor" mates, and bring in some proper football people. And listen to them, not get the hump when they tell him something he doesn't like.
Citeh fans take note. This is the path you are now travelling.

    OK, now fine me.

Webb should be stripped of all big game duties. An incompetent referee to say the least!

Webb should have been given a Red Card for his reckless performance yesterday!
