They cannot spell their name right.
Chelsea FC were left with egg on their faces on Sunday afternoon - and not only for letting a 3-0 lead slip against Manchester United.
Fans around the world probably didn't pay much attention at first when an advert for the club shop's website appeared on advertising boards around Stamford Bridge.
But then something about those adverts began to jar, and thousands of people started to realise that the club had managed the unenviable feat of spelling its own name wrong in those adverts.
You read that right, even if the club's proof-readers didn't: the pitchside hoardings were supposed to point fans to chelseafc.com/shopping, which takes you to a web page selling everything from officially endorsed ice scrapers to Blues-themed Valentine's Day gifts.
Instead, users were pointed to chelsefc.com/shopping, which contains one of those dodgy-but-not-quite-illegal cybersquatting websites, advertising - at least in our case - help quitting smoking, a £95 a week football academy, and most bizarre of all a Leicester City fan website called leicestertillidie.com.
