Gareth Bale VS Cristiano Ronaldo!

I'm both shocked and surprised to be quite frank, considering the 24 game "Curse of Gareth Bale", where he was not on the winning team for spurs till game number 25, and the fact he started as a left back and Cristiano was surrounded by all the staff and players at utd's disposal.... the facts though, speak for themselves!
Good stats, only passing accuracy is a bit weak.
How many games did it take Ronaldo to first dive with no contact then push his opponent for calling him out on it?
YNWA
Ronaldo did mature rapidly. He was a lightweight who fell over his own bootlaces to begin with.
A comparison of the next 100 games (or 97 as he played 196 PL games) might be more revealing. Ronaldo scored 65 goals in that period.

"How many games did it take Ronaldo to first dive with no contact"

With no statistical analysis to back this up i'd say around 5minutes?
"then push his opponent for calling him out on it?"
----
Never because he always got away with it!
It's noteworthy, when watching Gareth Bale fall over fresh air last night, that Ronaldo had a reputation for diving.
But when he left the PL for Spain in 2009, he had become one of the strongest and most robust players around. He was regularly marked by two or three players and often hacked down indisriminately, but he kept going, often rode the tackles and proved to be such a highly effective player as his goals and assists tallies between 2006 and 2009 prove.
Ronaldo wouldn't be a bad example for Bale to follow.

I refute the claim, he just stopped falling over all over the place, and just did it on the edge of the area, thus allowing himself the chance to have a bang at the free kick. His increase in size just allowed him to bypass people that attempted to fowl him in non dangerous areas.
Great stats but if you think about them a little you quickly realise that they are massively skewed in Bale's favour. Bale was brought up in British football and trained accordingly for a number of years, and was well adjusted to the country before making a premiership appearance. Ronaldo was brought over here not speaking the language and having grown up in an entirely different footballing and indeed lifestyle culture, it's not surprising that his stats are unremarkable for his early period.
What was the comparison in yellow/red cards issued to both players?
Careful or PNP will whip out his infamous 'Xavi Brunt' stat!
Cristiano Ronaldo is a hell of a player. I don't think Bale will ever be as good as him but imho only Messi comes close.
If Bale goes to Barcelona then we will can truly compare those two.
Players come and go, the cockerel is forever.
Johan Cruyff: "Chelsea winning the CL-final is a defeat for proper football. I'd rather not win it, then to have to play this way."
