OK, here we go! My most memorable moment was on MOTD2 after the Arsenal game when Lee Dixon did his piece on Swansea's triangles. Or maybe watching Balotelli trying to score from the half way line at the LIberty out of pure frustration. Over to you Billybjack...
“Thanks Aswan_dam. My most memorable moment of the season was Watching the Mighty swans completely destroy Arsenal. The look on the faces of the Players when Arsenal equalised only to fall behind again after a minute by a superb Danny Graham Goal. Beaten by the best footballing team in the league. Great Dancing on the Side line too. Priceless. Over to you Dilligaf
Cheers Billybjack, Here goes. My highlight of the season was at Anfield after the game had finished. The Swans were superb up there and deserved at least the draw and my abiding memory is of The Kop to a man all stayed behind and gave the Swans a standing ovation after the game. Not many teams get that at Anfield and will live long in my memory, I was so proud of my team that day. Over to you Doctor Love.
Thanks, glamexile, Among my best moments was Danny's winner against Arsenal and I just knew our first big scalp had been taken. This closely followed by Lawro's analysis of our intricate passing against Fulham - and the speeded up version!! Over to you, jackash.
Thanks ivor. My most memorable moment of the season was the first goals AND three points of our premier league campaign, the 3-0 win against West Brom. The atmosphere was electric. Over to you jackpa26.
Thanks. My most memorable moment came after the Arsenal win. The number of compliments made by my US colleagues wad awesome. It really struck me that the Swans really are on the World stage and I could not have felt more proud to be a Jack. Over to you KJ!
Cheers, JackPA26 Thanks is due to the Swansea Jacks So now itâs over to the Knack To reminisce of good times gone When Swansea City were on song To think of times this season past To never end and always last A difficult task for all itâs true Letâs see if I agree with you Man City came without respect Their players just could not connect Their desire to win could not be sated As they became more frustrated We kept the ball, we passed it well Their players thought they were in hell Just when we thought thereâd be no score Up popped super sub Luke Moore! I jumped, I screamed like a little girl Head was spinning, heart in a whirl Screamed so hard thought I was deaf Over to you neveroffsidereff â¦..
Thanks Knackered. My highs and lows of the season and there are a few. Highs. Stoke, Home - Beating them showed me that we can compete in the PL. West Brom, Away - Getting a result after going behind in the driving snow, and it was bloody freezing up there, showed guts and determination. Fulham, Away - The display of the season for me had everything. Man City, Home - Say no more beating the potential PL Champions. Lows. Norwich - Loosing both games to poor displays. QPR, Away - Worst performance of the season. Chelsea, Home - Conceding in the last minute of injury time GUTTED. Giving sloppy goals away to Man Utd and Arsenal. Last of all, my big high is Harry Redknapp's comments after drawing with us, the first Manager to come out and say they were out played and they were lucky to get a point. Good old Arry!!! I'd like to add a foot note, in saying what a fantastic season we've had, and going into our Centenary season in the PL is a massive achievement. Well done everybody associated with the club from the board, manager, player and staff. THANK YOU!!!! I'm Proud to be a Swansea Jack!!!!! Over to you North Bank.
******************************** Ok, I think weâre finished. Well, not a howling success due to the number of absentees but I guess it was always going to be that way! For those who did take part - many thanks.
Yes, great idea mate and worked without hiccups. Just a shame there were absentee's. Good to see a few different best bits.
Oh man. sorry about that guys... well just to add My favourite moment of the season was Mark Gower being credited as being the mosy creative player in Europe! Garry Monk being the fastest player... And fairly, Leon britton being immense and really showed his class! Faultless pretty much all season. Went to the fulham away game and that was a perfect performance!
I was ready and wrote my post and it did not respond for some reason and when it came back on all i had written was gone....it was 8:02pm then so missed my slot....took my dogs up the park for an hour then..sorry Aswan...
Sorry I'm late.................... My favourite moments were a) the kick-off against Man City in the first game of the season. At last, we were in the Premier League. b) Danny's winner against Arsenal. I was on holiday but watched the game live on TV in Barbados.
Sorry I am late but was away on business! If its not too late my personal memorable moment came from a defeat. Sitting among the Gooners at the Emirates they acknowledged that we were a PL team and not a Derby! Made one feel proud.
Sorry mate i missed it i was playing down the park and lost track of time . The guy caught on camera crying his eyes out after our man c win said it all about that game . Seeing Fergie, Venger and Arry sweat because of little old Swansea was priceless. But Siggy arriving on loan and having immediate impact was the best bit .
