    Not a great goodbye gesture thread just a thank you and explanation thread.

    I have told Mick that I am relinquishing all mod duties, staying on not606 but taking a step back. not606 will no longer be my default forum, why, well threads like "Syd", I'm sure we will be told posted with good intentions are simply posters wanting to **** stir, don't need it, don't want it and can live without it.

    For me the enjoyment of not606 has drained away so I will now talk to Sunderland fans with a laugh, respect, arguments yes, childish abuse not for me.

    Will pop back from time to time, for those coming over, will see you there. For those staying,good luck, thanks for the support and in the words of Joe,

    Don't blame you mate. Think forums like this tend to deteriorate after a while due to the witless few sabotaging it for others. Never understood the point of wumming or what people get out of it.

    is it a big secret the mags seem to no more than us on this site i dont blame syd for going i cant find any info i may aswell join him the other thread is closed no body will tell me out syd gone chunky gone well maybe thats the end then <bubbly>

    Understandable, familiarity seems to have caused problems here.

    Only think is I find this forum fantastic in terms of user-friendliness others are left trailing in its wake in that respect.

    Yep, I suppose you know more than the person who actually posted the thread <doh> Serious case of Cest-itis there, your opinion is the be all and end all, anyone disagreeing with you is wrong full stop. You can claim that NUFC fans ruined the Sunderland board, I could just as easily claim that abusive mackems and **** stories about a ****ing dog did the same, Mr Moral High Ground.

    That was ****ing snide. Have a go at Cest if you must that's ongoing but leave Syd out of it he did **** all to deserve that.

    Well, when I make a thread saying I genuinely thought Syd was one of the best posters on here, and he then comments on the thread, then goes on to make his own thread to say that i was lying just to try and cause trouble, that high and mighty approach puts him in the firing line.
