    Double worry for Terriers
    Huddersfield Town, 15:32, November 5, 2012

Huddersfield strikers James Vaughan and Jermaine Beckford both remain doubtful for the home game with Blackburn.

Beckford, on loan from Leicester, missed Saturday's home win over Bristol City with a hamstring strain and joint top goalscorer Vaughan sat out the same match following a recurrence of a thigh injury sustained during training on Friday.
Forward Sean Scannell was supported by midfielder Adam Clayton and winger Adam Hammill up front in the pair's absence at the weekend and those three are likely to continue if Beckford and Vaughan fail late fitness tests.
Huddersfield will also be without right-back Jack Hunt, who serves the second game of his two-match ban, so Calum Woods is set to deputise again, while manager Simon Grayson has no other new injury or suspension problems.
Midfielder Oscar Gobern remains the only long-term absentee as he recovers from ankle surgery.

Feel sorry for the lad, but he's a bit of a liability. I had high hopes for him here but if we can get a decent fee in January I think we should let him go <ok>

It's really unfortunate for him as when he is "on it" he looks really impressive.

He is just so injury prone that you cannot plan around him, or build a team around him.

Vaughan was injury prone before NCFC brought him in for a reported £2m. At the time I was surprised at his inclusion in the squad because of his past history. It may be argued that CH has realised that he is a bit of a liability and it would not surprise me, or other fans, that he is sold in January, to Huddersfield or another club. Of the strikers that we have, only Holt and Jackson can cut in the Prem with Chris Martin completely out of his depth and Morison seemingly unable to test goalkeepers with his striking efforts. Murray and Austin are the Championships leading scorers but both clubs involved will be loath to sell their prize assets for the level of money that NCFC can afford. Going abroad seems the way forward - another like Tettey would do nicely!

I can't see him having a 'normal' career in the game, the time will come when he will probably be forced to retire early which would be a massive shame for the guy. He still has so much potential and promise but no-one is ever likely to get full value out of him.
