KK was a decent lad, and this reflection on his experiences with City is a sobering reminder of the recent troubles: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2257370/Kevin-Kilbane-talks-money-football.html
Sooooooooo , what would happen if a premier league or championship player dropped their agent ? would their world end ? I cant imagine most players with an established career needing an agent , its leeches
What a load of ****e. boateng were there before that bag of **** was. 26-28 grand a week we paid him, he was ****ing rubbish but awfully nice so got none of the flack.
It's a little ironic, writing an article about a club spunking money on **** footballers, when you're one of **** footballers it was spunked on....
At the end of the day, if some muppet offers you stupid money your going to take it. Iirc, it was killer who defered some of his wages when the ****e hit the fan and even though he was well past his best, he always put a shift in when asked so i've not got a problem .................. now as for the other fooking parasites, thats another mater grrrrrrrrr
thought his article talked a lot of sense, its true that during our golden age, the club was ran like one big ****ing circus. The game needs money staying in it, not greedy bastard agents taking all that they can, out of the game. I,d also get rid of Balotelli. He,s a joke of player and will continue to embarass the club. On a pos note hopefully that peice of land that Duffers aquired for the club may get its pitches and state of the art facilities built, one day soon.
Don't think we would fall into that trap again. If we go up and keep SB he will attract better players without us being black-mailed into ridiculous fees / wages.
Yes I think you're right. Bruce brought real managerial experience to the club, something Barmby couldn't do.City are now benefitting from it. I hope it lasts.
