Puts a different slant on the whole Rangers debt/Llyods situation.
So if you could just write me my check for ten percent of a half a million... five grand... I'll go out and mingle.

Aye, that's how they come to the ÃÃâ€*Չہ ¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£18 million figure...

He highlights a good few points...

Does a business have to be insolvent/bankrupt etc for a bank to accept ÃÃâ€*Չہ ¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£ % deals... if so, they go into adminstration.

With personal debt, if you go bankrupt or enter into a debt managment programme, it ****s up yer credit rating. So, a business would have to be treated the same (i.e Administration) ??????

Rangers of course would not want to do that - minus 10 points!

I can't see the bank accepting a % deal for our debt even if we were to go bust. Our assets far out way our debts with Murray park, Ibrox and the players

I'm sure Rangers will get out of (somehow) ...

I don't think it will get to the same point as Celtic in the 90s.

Murray Park is prime property development territory, i know the property market is on its knees at the moment but it doesn't change the location of Murray Park!!
If Rangers where not involved with MIH there wouldn't be a problem, ÃÃâ€*Չہ ¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£31 m is easily manageable for a club Rangers size.
Remember that figure doesn't not include this seasons Champions League revenue! I reckon it will come down considerably especially with the squad being so small now.
We just need to get away from the grip of MIH and normal service will resume, you know Championships, Cups, domestic trebles.....stuff like that!!

Your biggest problem is exactly MIH

As you say ÃÃâ€*Չہ ¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£31 m debt is manageable, as rangers have asset of way more than ÃÃâ€*Չہ ¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£31 m

The problem isnt the debt its the value MIH hold on Murrays shareholding. As this is held in MIH name they are holding out for as much as they can on the value of this AND the all the debt. And no one will ever pay top dolar for the shares and the debt in one go. One has to give - either drop the asking pricve of the shares or the debt - at the minute LLoyds want top dolar for both - as they'll get it from rangers one way or another - they might not get it back from MIH though
