Hope Bellemy ain't fit, he will destroy Fonts and Tangle for pace. Even if Carey is fit I can't see him containing Bellemy.
This is a game that will show us how far we have improved since SODS arrival. Certainly if Cardiff take us lightly as Watford did then happy days. I am going for a 2 - 2 draw with Davies and Stead scoring.
We've got FC as an option for pace if Bellers didn't make it for any reason. So there'll be pace up front for us whatever happens.
We play a solid middle paring, Have you noticed lately pace doesn't mean nothing compared to what it did under McInnes, SoDs got us tight in the middle, The only time we look vulnerable is down the wings. Even then we have Anderson, Adomah, Cunningham and Moloney to protect the flanks. All of them are fast. Strikers with pace as I said, Won't effect us as much as it did
I see from above that the Cardiff chairman is Chan Tien Ghee. Is he a close or distant relative of the previous manager of the blue and white quarters brigade, Mr McGhee?
Still think we struggle against pace when forest played with pace they looked threatening to say the least
May the farce be with you. That's life my friend - some you win, some you lose. Doubt it'll make any difference who's wearing red, the result is all that matters.
Not that much between us on current form.. Cardiff City.......last 5 games.....W3...D2...L0..GF...4...GA...0...Points.. ..11 Bristol City........last 5 games.....W3...D0...L2..GF...6...GA...3...Points.. ..09 I think it will be closer than the franchise think....
Hopefully football comes through on this one and we stuff the franchise leaving their plastic fans at LEGOLAND shell-shocked.
...."franchise", "plastic fans", "legoland"........ You guys are really struggling for something decent and original on here as well as on the bloody pitch.......
BJA - I'm sure you're right mate. I had a lot of time for O'Driscoll when he was at Doncaster - bloody good manager who was poorly treated by that excuse for a football club called Forest. Wizey - I did see your statistics but the only ones I'm intersted in are the current league table and the fact that we're 34 points ahead of you. (maybe still 34, maybe 31 or even 37 come Saturday, but I'll take where we are right now thank you)
That's a fair enough point of view to take, though if you break down those fixtures, it indicates a much wider gap than you allude to. 4 of our 5 were played away from home, whereas 3 of your 5 were at home and we still got 2 more points than you. You can attempt to prove anything with statistics - it'll be tested on Saturday.
....and you recently have been beaten at home by Macclesfield and Peterborough and lost away to us earlier in the season, you are correct, Saturday will be a good day, let's hope for a good game...
