and barely a word about it anywhere in the press bar the BBC, not even a single story on Sky Sports News about it?

They murdered a cop outside an Italian football match about 2 years back and all football in Italy was immediately stopped until the investigation was complete.

Seems utterly bizarre that an incidident such as this can float by practically unnoticed and goes to show you the level of control the media has over our conciousness - how on another day (for instance if it had of been in a Manchester or Glasgow Derby) something like this would be the talking point of every staff room in Britain instead of who John Terry has or hasnt shagged.
