I remember not too long ago the stadium being 3/4 empty, having loads of empty seats everywhere, do you think we will still be able to maintain the same crowds if we are going back to a boring mid table championship side for a while?

And the buzz on the board seems to have dropped already, hopefully it will stay interesting on here next season no matter what happens!

At least I'd be able to go to the loo & get a beer at halftime!

I think that the core support for Rangers is around the 10 thousand mark. Whether it will drop to the hard core if we get relegated all depends on what happens over the summer: if there is optimism on the back of some progressive signings then perhaps it won't fall to low - but I still expect that many of the fans who have been attracted back due to our promotion and first PL season might have second thoughts.

I live too far away to attend home games regularly any more, so away games tend to be my only fix. From this perspective, a season (or two) in the CC won't be too bad as there's quite a few grounds reasonably close.

But whatever happens, the pitiful showing this season is going to put many people off, whether we survive or not - just look at the falling attendances at Arsenal and Man City.

No, history will repeat itself, anything between 10,000 and 15,000 depending who we are playing.

Where i sit, i have noticed that many of the faces of what were the regulars, have now changed to different people each match as people offload their tickets to viagogoers, and certainly the bloke next to me has stopped coming.

Depends on the pricing structure TF puts in next season. If there isn't a significant reduction (20%?) we'll be lucky to get 10,000 gates, especially if Harry does a runner and the team is as dire as it is at present. Oh for the days when you could just turn up, pay at the gate and go in...

I've noticed this too and I'm wondering if this is effecting the atmosphere?

Not looking too good for 'the project' is it? It'll need some really inspired leadership from the top to turn this all round.

Problem is, the downturn's likely to affect the owners and management as much as it'll affect the fans.

Due to where I live, other commitments and financial implications I am only a 2-3 games a season chap and that will remain come rain or shine, success or relegation.

Board is going down the pan due to the 'usual characters' bickering and making the board all about them and not about QPR. Also so much OT dross.

If we go down with this squad without a fight having the opportunity we have right now I will be livid and no idea how to handle it ... I refuse to accept it

Now that is 100% how I feel now. Dunno, I noticed something snapped with Col after the Liverpool game, and something went with me on Saturday, no particular reason, I certainly wasn't surprised at the result, and it was nothing like as bad as the Liverpool shambles. I'm ****ing furious with the lot of them.

I'm trying to think/drink myself out of it, as defeatism really isn't my thing. 3 points against Saints will have me back on board, in full denial.

PS of course I'll ****ing stay. Not as if I've got a real choice is it? Its in my blood, like haemophilia, or more accurately, malaria.Periods of frenzy, fever and intense pain, knowing that there will be respite but it will happen again.

Does this mean that I need to change my ticket for the Sunderland match? I don't want to be standing next to a miserable git ;)

We will all stay, we all all far too addicted to do otherwise. Time and alcohol will dull the pain of this season, we will all be back full of hope for next season in what ever capacity we can.

When was the ground 3/4 empty? I don't remember that at all, probably because it never happened. They'll always find 12,000 mug punters.

Yes indeed, for better or worse that is the "curse" most of us were born with - I'm the 3g version! Enjoy watching other games (much less stressful), but could never support another team like the R's.

I will ALWAYS support Q.P.R. until the day I die whatever league we end up in, even if it's the Hellenic League Premier Division.

No, I wont take 10 hours out of my day and £80 out of my pocket for each game. Ill do the odd away game and watch the streams of the live games.

I literally havent enjoyed a single minute of this season, even the win(s) were awful. There will have to be a huge turnaround on performances to convince me to renew. Why should I put in more effort than the players.
