Anyone see him on Sky Sports for the Euro draw?

"Great draw for Scotland, we couldn't have got a better group"

    What?

"We should be lokking at second place at least"

    Eh?

Spain are possibly the best team in the world right now he can't possibly expect Scotland to top them even if Boyd, Ferguson & McGregor return?

Czech Republic are not as strong as they once were but are still a decent team who shouldn't certainly not be written off so quickly.

What you all think of the draw?

Scotland manager Craig Levein was less optimistic after his side were drawn against reigning champions Spain. He said: "If we had to play children's TV characters I'm pretty sure England would get Iggle Piggle and we'd get Optimus Prime in a ****ing Brazil shirt."

Couldnt have put it better myself.
Mendes hasnt scores a screamer for a while, infact he hasnt done anything for a while, so I thought a name change made sense.

The Czechs are a spent force, I wouldnt bet against us stuffing them at Hampden much like we skelped Ukraine. Spain will probably horse us home and away but second place is not out of our reach.

I agree the Czechs are not as good as they once were, but they still have some good technical players in the squad - just not the extra quality Nedved used to have.

Scotland have a decent midfield 3 of Brown, Ferguson & Fletcher but none really have that flair in the last third to make a decent team in to a good team. Too much will rely on the 2 who play wide to provide the ball to Boyd who should be left to up the pitch to score goals without folk moaning about him not running round like Miller or Brown - thats not his role.

The Czechs have that big lump so Caldwell & McManus could not play together against him as it'd be long balls all game & with the craft of Rosicky playing off the loose balls/knock ons.

You are definitely capable of catching a point of Spain. With Fletcher & Brown snapping at them Xavi & Iniesta will not have an easy time of it, if you can stifle them 2 you have half a chance as they're weakest outwide imo.

    My team would be:

    Gordon

    Hutton
    Caldwell
    Berra
    Fox

    Miller
    Brown
    Ferguson
    Fletcher
    McFadden

    Boyd

Fill the bench with guys like McCormack, Maloney who can be impact players & play in a few positions to change the game as & when

Not what I said Wiz at all.

Brown & Fletcher will be chasing them down all game, possibly 2 of the best at "running around like mad ****s chasing the ball" in world football

Ferguson sitting behind making sure Scotland keep possesion when they do manage to get the ball & guys like Miller with his pace & hard work, McFadden has that extra bit of quality above the rest of the squad to do something different & if you only make a couple of chances Boyd is good enough to take one or make the keeper work.

Russia were probably the best of the top seeds to get, the second seeds were nothing really to write home about. Pot 3 looked better then Pot 2 in some cases!!!

Thats the only problem with the Irish draw, hope to get the Russian away game in their milder season & take the minows on in the wintery season.......but even they can be tricky trip in those conditions.

Pretty sure Russia will already be working on a deal with the other teams to ensure Ireland visit when the snow is pelting it down & its minus 20

I don't get how the teams themselves can sit down & sort out when to play one another. Surely UEFA/FIFA should be in charge of this to ensure nothing untoward goes on with the fixture dates? They have the details of all the domestic competitions so would be able to sort out who should play who, when & where etc.
