Just as well get him signed up now then aber ;)

Is MM still in the running for the Everton job though? Seems to have gone quiet the past few days?

your not being fair on pullis...he joined stoke when they were a mid table team in the championship and took them to the premiership and kept them there for a number of seasons....should MM leave then there is nobody better than steady pullis to do a good job for you....

True Aber, I had thought he might be a candidate but as VG says Malky has slipped down the order at the bookies lately with Martinez, Lennon, a Stubbs/Weir/Ferguson combination, Poyet, some foreign guy and even Phil Neville getting above him.

Not so Bluey - Malky back joint second favourite now with Stubbs. Martinez is only just ahead of them.

Word is that Everton have requested to speak to him - but that is only a phone call rumour at the moment.

Just had a squint at the available managers list on the LMA site and it isn't too impressive. With the exception of
Di Matteo the list insn't inspiring and Pullis would certainly not be my first choice.

    Di Matteo
    Poyet
    Pullis

I thought Di Matteo did well at the baggies and of course Chelsea, Poyet has done well wherever he has managed but not top flight. Pullis obviously has a good record but his football is not so good on the eye.
Are there any other managers out there? Colin anyone?
Redknapp also having a moan, he may well be available in the near future.

What are the odds for either Pullis or Redknapp to Everton?

    no thanks for me.

if you are mid table, then it would be a chore watching drab football with nothing to play for.

although he's done a very good job there, their fans seem to have become bored with the football and i wouldnt want that here.

Lets not be a stepping stone for managers like the scum down the road, Malkie will stay because we are a big club and the Prem needs us ...................;O)

Like I've said before, I'll be very surprised if MM doesn't get offered the job, and he's second favourite behind Martinez!.....<cheers>

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Mild in the extreme compared to comments made by some of your folks.

JH please use more appropriate language when refering to Swansea, we have a bit more class about us, let's not drop to their level.

He followed the Kenny Jacket way when he was at Swansea.
