http://tyneandwear.sky.com/newcastl...near-invited-to-attend-newcastle-fans-meeting Newcastle United fans will hold an open meeting on Monday night to discuss the current changes taking place at St James' Park, with director of football Joe Kinnear invited to attend. Officials from Newcastle United are expected to attend the meeting, which will be held at the Labour Club on Leazes Park Road in the city centre at 6pm on Monday. Organisers Newcastle Fans United say Joe Kinnear has been invited, but his attendance has not been confirmed. Steve Wraith, spokesman for Newcastle Fans United, said: âIf anyone wants to come along, get up and speak, they are more than welcome. Itâs open to all fans. "Weâve got club officials there who will try to answer any questions they can, and who will report back to Mike Ashley. âWe want to try to generate some good ideas and see what the supporters want. We donât have any ulterior motives from fans or individuals, we just want everyone to come together.â The meeting is being held after Joe Kinnear's appointment, and his comments in several media interviews, caused concern among fans. And following Derek Llambias' resignation as managing director, fans are seeking assurances about the future of the club. Kinnear should get a right laugh!
That slimy nonce won't show up. He will be verbally assassinated. He is thick but he can't be bat **** insane surely?
Kinnears going to rock up with a car full of greggs stake bakes and some broon ale and the scum will love him. The front page of tomorrows chronicle will herald him as the geordie robin hood
JK won't show up at a local WMC to face the fans. Why should he show up ? He's not employed by the fans ,and he's not answerable to the fans. His loyalty is to Ashley , the man who pays JKs substancial wage and has also plucked JK from obscurity not once , but twice. Much as the Mags fans would love the club to send Kinnear to explain the clubs actions and future plans , it ain't gonna happen.
They might boycoutt (spelt wrong deliberately) the club, they have to be careful, there's nothing to stop Ashley putting the club into administration & selling for what he can & any new owners being in debt to him for the money the club owes him
As last season unfolded maybe Kinnear was pointing out the problems with a team that had over-performed the season before. Pardew never kept short of money but maybe have been too cosy with Lambias for Ashley's liking.

http://www.football365.com/news/21554/8791342/Newcastle-fans-vent-Kinnear-fury The 66-year-old was unable to attend the meeting of NUFC Fans United, to which he had been invited at short notice, as he got together with chief scout Graham Carr to discuss the club's summer transfer business. It was left to close friend and former Newcastle schoolboy player Eddie McIntyre to fight his corner in front of a rebellious audience at Newcastle Labour Club this evening. McIntyre, who was repeatedly heckled, said: "You are asking why Joe Kinnear didn't come here. He was going to come. "Since Joe was appointed, he has never had a day off. He was going to come up on Sunday night and going to come here. "I spoke to Joe Kinnear this morning. He was waiting to be picked up by Graham Carr, who lives in Northampton. He was picking Joe up in Mill Hill and they were having a business lunch, which will go on tomorrow. "That's the reason Joe hasn't been able to come." Around 230 fans, comprising a coalition of different supporters' groups, packed into the concert room at the club, which lies in the shadow of St James' Park, less than a week after the club confirmed that Kinnear had been handed the role of director of football. McIntyre tried manfully to defend Kinnear, and admitted he regretted his comments in an ill-advised and now infamous radio interview last week. "He regrets, naturally, what has happened over the last week. But Joe Kinnear will be here some time in the future," he said. McIntyre was unable to win over a largely hostile crowd, but was applauded for his courage in turning up as he sat down. The Irishman may not have been in attendance, but Wendy Taylor, head of media, and supporters liaison manager Lee Marshall, who have been attending the organisation's meetings for the last year, were. Neither spoke, but they were there to report back what was said to the club's Board. More than 500 questions were submitted in advance by fans via twitter, Facebook and e-mail, many of them surrounding Kinnear's controversial return to St James' Park. Kinnear, however, was not the only target as supporters also vented their fury on club owner Mike Ashley, whose decision it was to install him above manager Alan Pardew and Carr. Indeed, one of the groups represented, the Mike Ashley Out Campaign, proposed a motion calling on the sportswear tycoon to sell the club, something he has previously tried and failed to do twice during the six years he has owned it. The motion, which was put to a show of hands, was carried by a sizeable, if not unanimous, margin.
