They look really good. Like, really, really good. Malmo haven't got a prayer. Bony looks like the kind of striker we need and Jonjo Shelvey is running the show. Looking forward to seeing them play at the KC.

Aye, they are playing some cracking stuff. But, despite how well they are playing (which is very well indeed), we can't base it one just one match.

I think they will certainly be top 8 next season though.

I said Bony was gonna be the buy of the season. We're gonna just have to hope that 3 teams are worse than us.

I hope they're both injured when we play them.

I'm not bothered about seeing other teams' top larkers.

Might as well mention this as well.

Captain Charisma himself, Clarke Carlisle, is a ****ing **** commentator.

    FACT.

Without being too negative what worries me about this season is that I don't see us doing a Blackpool or repeating our first half PL season. I think our only chance of survival is being tough to beat and salvaging draws and beating our closest rivals. So I am not predicting a very glamourous season.

I was watching Swansea last night on the BBC- making out they're a fairytale rags to riches story- the rags to riches to story.

Before them it was Balckpool trying to claim the crown.

But we all know who did it first and best don't we?

We are far too modest and self-effacing.

Actually I much prefer it like that, as the cognoscenti out there will always know- but the wannabes giving it the big 'I am' do grate at times as they attempt to rewrite history.

I was watching it thinking "why did we never have one of these documentaries?"

Stopped watching on 83 so I've missed the 4th, who got it?

Swansea do look superb, I would put them on a handicap bet if it wasn't for their European commitments and think they could go far in the Europa, providing something of a distraction to their league campaign.

In what year were they locked out of their own ground and fighting to stay in existence on their way up to the Premiership?

    Remind me again?

I considered putting him in but Swansea have a fairly tough start, besides, I already have 3 world class strikers.

    That's a first.

Just be honest with yourself. My brain is telling me we're gonna get smashed by Chelsea but I'm still forking the £50 out because my heart says we could get something out of it.

I honestly feel as though it will be a grinding season. I'm not convinced we'll be favourite for many fixtures. It doesn't mean we can't stay up. I actually predicted we will but I don't think we'll be comfortably safe with 4 games to go.

What are you expecting? you clearly haven't been following other teams and their pre-season. Villa, west ham, west brom, swansea, norwich, Soton all look very strong this year. So I don't think we can count those games as "easier" games. Not followed much of Palace and Cardiff but you're blind if you think that our aim at this moment in time, without even kicking a ball in the PL, is to finish any higher than 17th.

He would be in mine, but a front 3 of RVP, Aluko and Berbatov works for me. <ok>

I might put him in if he hits the ground running though.

Bony, Dzeko and Wolfswinkel (the latter partly for the name I'll confess) ... midfield Walcott, Snodgrass, Moutinho, Zaha and the Italian whose name begins with G that Sunderland just signed ... now no copying Tigggers
