I don't know if any of you remember, that I'm a member of Greenpeace, so before I go, I want you to read this letter I had from one of the Greenpeace Activists, by the name of Alexandre Paul, who is illegally imprisoned under false charges by the Russian State.

Hope they throw away the key .

Greenpeace ? what a load of bollocks they are, hell you gota be rich to think the way those people do . As far as can tell greenpeace spend as much time endangering life as anything they protest against , Im glad they fooked with th eRussians though because those people wont give a toss about the namby pamby tree hugging bufoons who use just as much corrupt information about climate change etc as the oil/energy companies do .

Nobody is going to give a fook about those guys hopefully doing 18yrs in jail but I guess they will get some really nice "eco friendly" jumpers to keep em warm while in prison in Siberia ,though I guess they wont be made out of camals pubic hair that has been shed naturally they will be made from murdered sheep that eat in the wrong field !...<laugh>

Loved the letter though, "please please mummy and daddy I done a baddy and would like to return home to your estate in the country side ,can you please use daddies money and influence to help me return home where I will then promise to stop playing with my rich friends on boats and instead take a seat on the board of daddies big multi national company that only pollutes a little bit. "

"I will promise to never go near them bad Russian people who don't enjoy or tolerate rich fools easy , very sorry mummy and daddy I just want teddy and some goats milk (naturally extracted of course) and a hug goodnight, not olav getting ready to give me the same type of buggering I received in boarding school, the uneducated fool doesn't even speak English, how dare he not speak the language of the Queen in mother Russia"

    PS

"Any chance daddy can send the private jet to pick us up when this is all over?"

    "all my love, Tarqiunn "

    <ok>

Absolutely disgusting. Look at this poor distressed polar bear caught out in the oil spill in the arctic.

totally disagree, with Phil on this one. there is also an Aussie involved, charge has been dropped to hooliganism rather than the original charge of piracy. Greenpeace do a great job is curtailing the annual Japanese slaughter of whales in the southern ocean - ONYA Phil. poor comment #4 I believe Norway however opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.

so let me get this straight , its ok for us in our culture to kill cows, lambs, chickens etc some being sacred to certain people but its not alright for them in their culture to kill whales ?

Don't mis understand I don't agree with it but isn't it just being hypocritical ?

    PS

    Whale meat tastes awesome <ok>

The difference is they're killing off species, whilst the meat we eat is bred for eating. I'd have no problem if they wanted to set up a whale farm, but they'd need a decent amount of space <laugh>

Why would they need a decent amount of space ? do battery hens have a decent amount of space ?

My point is that what we in our culture think is disgusting other people in other cultures do not . How you farm is not the point right now the point is that who is to say that growing chickens and cows for food is in anyway ethically better .

    Killing a cow for food
    killing a whale for food

They are all gods creatures, you cant say one thing is ok and the other is not, you must surely agree that its all wrong but we accept that's the way it is .
we only deem it as ok because of the culture we live in , other cultures think the same about whale meat .

Farming is a different topic and its a bit daft to say its ok to kill cows because they are bred for food, its still a brutal death isn't it?RE whaling truth is other countries have regulations to abide by, in Norway there is a quota of how many whales can be killed per year and what minimum size they can be , they are hunted and like in nature there is an element of natural selection, in fact its a lot better to be a whale than a battery hen or an animal bred for slaughter like a lamb taken from its mother etc

No way is perfect but its daft to not consider what is normal for other cultures who the **** are we or greentwats to decide on cultural differences.

When I see greenpeace saving the battery chickens and protesting outside our slaughter houses then I might take a slightly different stance.

Musty opinions are indeed like arseholes ,its probably why your breath smells <ok>

Ok you need to get some facts here . in the waters around the north Scandinavia ,north sea etc etc whale populations are steady, neither growing nor reducing species are being maintained <ok>

But my point being: I'm against whaling because it's killing endangered species, they'll just kill whatever they can find. I'm not against people killing animals for food providing it's a sustainable supply. Too many species have been wiped out by man unnecessarily.

Plus things have been done (over here in the UK at least) to stop battery farming chickens. It's still not perfect but it's a step in the right direction (they need x amount of space, but in my view that's still too little!)

Ok you need to be put straight on this too. In Norway the only whale allowed to be killed is the minke whale, its not an endangered species either and the numbers are healthy as there are quotas that need to be followed, its not possible to go out and kill what you like!

even the animal activists/environment groups here in Norway have a policy of not supporting the measures greenpeace employ to sabotage the industry ,this is fact and can be researched . The reason is that the industry is managed and is controlled , the Norweigen government itself has raised concerns about the methods of battery farming of animals like chickens, and holds this up as a way of not how to do things, no KFC allowed in Norway by the way <ok>

What the greenpeace ****ers do is only give one half of the story , same with climate change,it was globel warming a few years ago,now its global cooling !

Until I see greenpeace campaigning outside Tesco, asda and all the super markets that accept battery farming and in humain practices of killing animals then I will consider them to be a bunch of hipocrites.

Another fact for you, there has been research and innovation in how the whale is killed, the argument being that a slow death is no good for anyone! most harpoons are now grenade tipped so when they enter the whale they explode giving an instant death ,not a good way to go but is no such thing as a good way to go is there <ok>

I can think of one good way to go. It involves Rachel Riley... Don't think she'd be up for killing whales though.
