You Are All Irrelevant Puppets

The latest fiasco on this board is the mod process on here. The supermods don't like our decision of mods for our board and are refusing to appoint them. I didn't chose our new mods and you didn't either, we all did. We've all been discussing it this weekend ever since Neveroff announced he was standing down on Friday morning. Later on Friday valley said he was stepping down too.

Now Valley wants us all to respect their decision. Well why should we? Our decision hasn't been respected has it ? We have been given no explanation and we're supposed to just accept it. What about the feelings of the people we chose? They've been treated with a total lack of respect, in fact they've been treated with contempt. Why are Valley and Never still mods? They said two days ago they were stepping down. When Pont announced on the Cardiff board he was stepping down it was done the same day, so what are they playing at?

Last night Swim announced he was leaving the board citing numerous reasons but one of them was mod behaviour and other outside interference. This is a person who has over 5,500 posts and a prolific poster. Well how else can what's happened be seen as a combination of outside interference and mod behaviour, this time the supermods. Don't alarm bells ring with anyone else when someone like Swim leaves?

Has anyone got any answers to the questions posed? Because I haven't thats for sure. Does anyone else out there feel angry or frustrated because I do.

Finally, does anyone else think that I'll receive a ban now for having the audacity to challenge these supermods and that Valley will show up to support them blindly again ?

Also I would ask visiting fans to let us get on with it as I would like to keep this internal

As for feeling angry and frustrated, dear God, it's just a football forum ffs. When you see how the people in the Philippines have been affected by the typhoon, surely it puts this crap into perspective. If it doesn't then that says more about the person

 

I think you are taking a football forum a bit too seriously.

That's exactly the sort of answer I was expecting from him mate. It's his wumming that's caused a lot of problems for this board and invited trouble. If you don't wum on other boards there's a lot less chance they'll venture on here.

 

People have left because people like you didn't like it when I banned somebody for labelling someone else a *****phile . Trouble is Dreyfus some posters like you can dish out the abuse but then go crying when it's thrown back at you or you don't like it if somebody tows the party line. As for still being mod, given that there hasn't been anyone to replace me yet the answer to that question is rather obvious don't you think.

 

Also if you don't hurl abuse at other posters from rival boards. You are another that likes to dish it out but can't handle it when it comes back at you

With less visits from wums them perhaps it wouldn't have come to this and we wouldn't be looking for two mods.
I too want some answers, I want to know what's going on. We as a board decided our mods and as you say our decision has not been treated with respect. I always thought mods ran the boards and that supermods only got involved when mods requested it.
Well we decided on our mods and that should be it.

He's not interested mate you may as we'll forget it. He's squirming now and trying to brush it under the carpet and derail the thread. He'll never answer why he's still a mod because power has gone to his head. Pretty soon it will be him here by himself. I think I'm just going to use the other forum.

 

Is there any "power" to being the mod on a football forum? Shouldn't it just be a bit of banter that nobody need get so upset about?

I'd quit while you're ahead here. I think you're misjudging the situation, this thread should be left as intended, for Swans posters only. We've already got a mod trying to derail it because it shows him up.

 

Politeness isn't a trait I'd normally associate with you.

To stay as on topic as possible, I proffer the theory that longstanding posters may have left because certain other posters take things far too seriously rather than it being a casual laugh and bit of banter between opposition fans as intended.
